I couldn’t watch it for some reason. Youtube keep saying my Javascript is either turned off or I don’t have the latest version of Flash. But I do so it must be the javascript I don’t have any idea how to turn it on though. I googled his name though he looks fitting not as boyish as I thought he was in Twilight but he would do if he got the part.

I thought he would be good as maybe the younger Jacob…. but I just can’t see him as the hot older Jacob…
and no offence but the audition tape was kind of laughabe… I mean there was a train in the background
and the girl messed up and I mean I just didn’t really like him as an actor… But it would be enough for the
Twilight movie… but probably not good enough for New Moon…. Thats just what I think though…

Well…I think is not the perfect Jacob only for one reason: Jacob is more passionate…but this boy…I don´t Know…isn´t passionate…But If he is the Jacob Black official, I hope he will do well…

Hm. I don’t think he’s that bad… I think if he actually… acted, like instead of just having Bella’s lines read, and he actually had to interact with Kristen it might have turned out better.

He’s not perfect… but he is actually kinda close to how I pictured Jake… just his hair is a bit too long for Jake in Twilight, or if he had it tied back maybe it’d work better? xD

All in all, he seems okay, I’m curious as to who else will audition.

I think he would make an awesome Jacob! He seems to be halfway goofing off in the video! Do any of you realize he has been in Into the West (episode 5) where he got rave reviews by the critics? He has also been in Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee, Expiration Date, Not Like Everyone Else, Three Wise Guys and the Work & the Glory II and III. I hope/think he has a better shot at it than almost anyone due to his experience and resume.

As rumours about Taylor Lautner being fired from his role as Jacob Black are getting stronger, we would like you to know the opinion of the fans about the matter.

We will not have another actor as Jacob Black.

Why?

First, it’s a HUGE mistake to change an actor when said actor plays one of the main roles in the series. Jacob Black and Edward Cullen have the largest fanbases within the Twilight franchise. The fans relate Taylor’s face with Jacob’s character the same way we relate Robert’s face with Edward. Although Jacob didn’t play a major role in Twilight he was one of the most higly anticipated casting selections.

Second, it would be preferable to see a shorter, less muscular actor that can accurately portray Jacob’s dynamic personality than simply an actor that looks the part. The same goes for members of the pack. We would prefer normal guys as the werewolves, thank you very much.

Third, because Taylor Lautner IS Jacob Black. In the few minutes he had in the movie, he won us all. His gestures, his simile, his voice, the way he behaved all the time… He is Jacob, and we don’t want a stranger in the role. We want Taylor.

Fourth, because this wouldn’t be fair to Taylor at all. He has been so enthusiastic about his role, which fans of the series truly appreciate. He’s one of the most loved actors in Twilight. Whenever he comes out anywhere, the screams are incredible. Everyone knows that a business must listen to the concerns of its consumers. If you wish to continue the success of Twilight with New Moon it is essential that you listen to us now. The fans do not want Taylor replaced, and if our voices fall on deaf ears then New Moon will play to empty seats.
