1. How did you get the idea to write a love-story about vampires?

Well, I’m not a huge fan of horror novels. I’m kind of a chicken! And I *we can’t understand what she said anymore* I dreamed about vampires and it was such an exciting dream that I just wanted to write it and that was the beginning of chapter 13 of Twilight and since then I have not stopped writing about vampires.

2. You said ‘I wrote it for myself and for mothers thinking of their first unfulfilled love’. What does it mean? Did you remember such an unfulfilled love when you wrote the story?

When I wrote Twilight I wasn’t thinking about any audience besides myself and I think it was a chance for me to go back and relive first love again. You don’t get that more than once. Sometimes you get something better later on but first love is a onetime deal and I wanted to go through all of that terror and passion and fear and happiness that comes through love and that is kind of a rollercoaster ride and it’s amazingly thrilling to ride it.

R.A. Long High School will no longer be a shooting location for the upcoming Twilight movie. Kalama High will still be used along with Clackamas Community College and Madison High School in Portland.

Filming at Kalama High School has been extended by four days, and will occur March 17 to 24, while school is in session.Film crews will take over the lower high school parking lot, Barnett said, and part of the upper lot. The school’s wrestling room will be used for a hospital room scene and gymnasium scene, Barnett said. Additional shots are expected to take place in the hallways and the regular gym, he said.

MTV talks to Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria) about the controversial treetop comment Kristen Stewart made in a past MTV article.

“They’re talking like it’s really going to happen,” Lefevre added. “We
did a rehearsal at one point where [director] Catherine [Hardwicke] was
like, ‘They went up in the tree, but we’re not doing that today.’ I
think we are really doing that.”

MTV: We recently ran a story with Kristen Stewart talking about “Twilight.” The old record on the MTV Movies Blog was 600 comments; that story now has 1,600 comments!

Rachelle Lefevre: [She laughs.] I’ve noticed. Twilight’s got some avid — and rabid — fans.

MTV: And every other comment is: “OMG! Kristen is so beautiful!”

Lefevre: I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many people [write] “OMG” in my life.

MTV: People are just now beginning to realize how big this “Twilight” thing is.

Lefevre: We are too.

MTV: So how did you become aware of it? When you first got the script, was it just another gig?

Lefevre: There were three things about it that made me want to go for the audition: The first one was that [director] Catherine Hardwicke was attached; the second was that the role was to play a vampire; and the third was that I could do an adaptation of a book that’s a trilogy, with the potential to explore a character, hopefully, over three films.

Taylor Lautner updates his myspace saying:

I am very very happy to announce that I will be working on the film called TWILIGHT. Many of you have been asking what role I will be playing. I think it would be best for me to wait for SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT to release the role first. I am hoping they will do so soon. Once they do then I can comment more. So please be patient…but I can’t wait. I am very excited to play this character in such an amazing book series by Stephanie Meyer.
On another topic…I just turned sixteen and got my drivers license..yayyyy!! Track just started so I have been running a lot.
I better go now but once Summit releases my role then I will comment more. I want to thank ALL of you for your support. Take care and hope you all become TWILIGHT fans.
