    I feel so bad for him! I think he is perfect as Edward and people shouldn’t send him letters telling him he isn’t right for the part. When I found out he was playing the role I realized that I was picturing him the whole time without knowing it! If you read this Robert, you are GREAT for the part and we support you!

    I could not agree more with you guys. He is beautiful. And if you ask me, he is Edward. I did picture him the whole time as well. I am more than confident that he will deliver. He is a serious and great actor that happens to be pretty enough to play our Edward. I think people need to take him seriously and be thankful that they did not cast someone on looks alone.

    I can’t believe people would send him hate mail. He’s obviously dedicated if he says he wants to focus completely on the role, and it’s not like the casting people can produce a carbon clone of Edward when everyone pictures him differently. In my opinion he’s perfect.

    people sending him hate mail makes me mad. he’s going to be great, and if you think he’s going to screw the whole movie up–then don’t see it. your loss. its kind of nice knowing that he wasn’t handed whatever he wanted on a silver platter. sounds like he had to work to get where he is. i like him.

    Seriously, who would send hate mail? Obviously those people can’t decide what’s real and what isn’t. Cedric Diggory is a FICTIONAL character. Robert is not ‘Diggory’ nor is he ‘Edward.’ He is just the guy that plays those characters. I give him credit for keeping his head up despite the mail. And oh-me-oh-my does he look good in that picture…I think it’s the hair…yeah, it’s definitely the hair.

    Robert’s perfect for the role of Edward. He dyed his hair well before the photo shoot of Twilight was schedule stating that it helped him be in character and focus. That shows how proffesional he is. I totally SUPPORT him. I wanted Gaspard Ulliel for the role at the beginning but COME ON!!! I got over it already and never sent hate mail GOD I can’t believe there were people doing that WTF?! Robert was an excelent choice and I never doubted about him. In fact I trusted again in Summit Entertainment because of him haha. I prefer Robert over Henry Cavill or Tom Sturridge let me tell you that.

    The first time I saw him I say: Cedric no!!! O__O …. I almost die ._.
    (i know that Cedric its a character, but I didnt know his name in that time…I just know him that the guy in Harry Potters movie ._.U)

    but now I think that Robert can do it well…

    when i first found out he was going to play edward i was really happy. my tummy even did those little flips because he looked so gorgeous as cedric diggory and he’s a great actor. i remember watching HP 4 and thinking ‘noooo’… because i really liked cedric’s character. it was bad enough that he was going to die, but did he have to be portrayed by someone so unbelievably gorgeous too??
    but then after thinking for a bit, i thought, nah. he isn’t good enough, looks wise. no one can, really, but tom sturridge looks EXACTLY like edward in some pictures. but then i realised that thats only in pictures. on reel robert looks WAY better. and he just seems like such a down to earth kind of guy. besides, he can act. anyone who plays edward NEEDS to be able to act. and he’s got that crooked smile which makes me go weak in the knees… *faints*
    so, finally, i okay him. :D
    and one more thing………….. ROBERT I LOVE YOU!!

    O.k. I have one question: Why do you guys say Gaspard Ulliel,Henry Cavill, and Tom Sturridge
    looks just like Edward when Stephenie and nobody else has posted a picture on him at all?! Maybe in your head that’s how Edward looks, but not everyone sees him like that. So stop saying some other actor should have been Edward. Because Robert to ME is going to do a great job.
    ALSO Gaspard could never possibly be able to pull off an American Accenet. Robert can. So in reality Robert is a perfect Edward.

    I think the perfect Edward is Tom Sturridge, it’s not just his face, it’s his attitude too, Tom reminds me of Edward, he would be perfect for the role, but, now we gotta accept the fact that Robbert will be playing Edward, and there’s nothing we can do about it, so, stop sending the poor guy stupid hate mail, it is childish, besides, he’s very handsome.

    I completely agree with the fact that Robert is perfect for Edward. As soon as I read Twilight he was the first person who popped into my mind since I say him in the Harry Potter and The Gobelt Of Fire. He’s hot, an amazing actor, and has the sexiest smile!! lol If I ever get the chance to meet him in person….I think I’d get arrested for trying to kiss him!! lmao!! Is that normal or am I too obessive?

    he is totally hot and muscular so he will fit the part well and he technically isn’t Diggory bc he died in the movie!!!! so all those angry fans can back off bc well HE FITS THE PART PERFECTLY!!!

    Hmm…he’s different than I thought he would be, but I think he’ll be quite successful in the role of Edward Cullen, he’s definitely got the handsome look part. I think everything about him screams Edward, even to his beautiful playful and thoughtful smile. :o ) He’s grown up a lot since his previous role.

    I absolutely love Robert Pattinson,And edward cullen.I read all of the books in less than a week.He is absolutely gorgous and the british accent is oh so perfect.I love him.He is the pefect man.Iwish I was lucky enough to have a chance.He is my favorite actor and The hottest male on the planet.

    Hi to everyone!.. i just saw pics of henry, gaspar and tom.. and i think robert its waaaaaaaaay perfect than these guys.. yes they are handsome but robert makes a great edward.. besides he looks exactly the age and face… tom is gorgeous but kind of old for the part of ed, and gaspar is cute but not that cute and doesnt have a pretty smile.. and henry looks younger not represent the scence of 80 years old… well thats what i think.. i really start like robert very much…

    ok is true Robert Pattinson is an attractive boy…but the true is that the movie for my that i read the book is a disappointment… because It was very superficial…The history about love (Edward and Bella) was very Faster!! and the interesting histroria of the family Cullen was not mentioned…
    The personage of Jasper remembered to ” Edward hands of scissors ” (by Johnny Deep) as for makeup and wardrobe.
    The personage of Bella who presents the movie was not shy and She just was awkward as described in the book…
    Alice’s story is not mentioned …

    In short of a complete and interesting story of love … instead of film for me was a series of chapters adolescents ..
    But Robert P. you are so cute!.
    The book is better
    Sorry for my mistakes do not speak English well
