People need to chill this doesn’t have to be a controversy! Things change and everything isn’t going to be the same. Sometimes things have to be different, like Rachele said. I think the treetops thing is going to be cool. |

That’s how I look at it. At first I was kinda like “Er. Treetops?” and now I’ve basically accepted that the movie isn’t going to be straight from the book. The only thing I wonder about is how many tree top scenes are there really in the books? Because I feel like I’m missing them if there really are a couple. The only one I can really think of at this moment is where Jake and Bella are by/in the tree while he tells the vampire stories -shrug- I don’t care much. Though. I find it kinda interesting that so many people do like… really care about it. I think it’ll turn out interesting. |

yeah there are no treetop scenes in the book, lol. and i was the same, i thought it was a dumb idea at first and i didn’t really get it. but now i am actually looking forward to seeing it. |

Well, i’m not freaking out so don’t get on my case. But my favorite part in the whole dang book was the |

I don’t want the Port Angeles stuff taken out. It’s one of the best things ever xD I love it. I believe the Tree Tops are more like, him demonstrating… rather then just him telling her. |

When I go to see movies based on books I always try to go in with a this-will-be-absolutely-rubbish-compared-to-the-book attitude. That way, running over treetops doesn’t really affect me. Except I think they’ve done well so far, with casting and everything. |

I don’t think they’ll take out the Port Angeles Scenes, that entire conversation is such an important part of the book. It’s not like Bella just goes to Port Angeles with Jessica and goes back to school on Monday and is like, “Hey Edward, you act like a jerk sometimes, but its ok, because your a vampire. Lets go run in some trees.” So even if they do take parts of Port Angeles out they’ll keep at least some elements of it. And if not…meh. |

I’m not sooooo worried. but I’m kinda anxious and practically screaming “are you changing it or not?” like Lucy, “when I go to see movies based on books I always try to go in with a this-will-be-absolutely-rubbish-compared-to-the-book attitude” |

Er… what treetops scenes in the books? There’s a couple of them? Are they like in the author’s cut of it? I get that the movie needs to be more visually exciting and really all this drama about the tree top scene is ridiculous… but… there’s no tree top scene in the book. Edward breaks a branch off a tree, Jake and Bella sit under a tree… oh! Jake climbs up the tree outside Bella’s window, but I was always under the impression that Edward just scaled the house all Spiderman like. |

When I think of treetops, I automatically think of Inuyasha, an anime where the main character can run really fast on treetops and carries a girl on his back. *lol* |

I’m having faith that they will adapt the book in some ways but still keep the incredible emotion of the book the same. I think it will be hard to see the changes since we all have read the books several times and love them just as they are but we’ll need to go in with an open mind. I agree with the other comments about Port Angeles. That scene is perfect. Perhaps what Rachelle is speaking of is when Edward truly exposes his vampire abilities to Bella. In Port Angeles he just verbally tells her who he is. Maybe we’re looking to far into their comments. ? |

I’m not worried, the movie is always going to be different from the book, thats just how it is. |
