R.A. Long High School will no longer be a shooting location for the upcoming Twilight movie. Kalama High will still be used along with Clackamas Community College and Madison High School in Portland.

Filming at Kalama High School has been extended by four days, and will occur March 17 to 24, while school is in session.Film crews will take over the lower high school parking lot, Barnett said, and part of the upper lot. The school’s wrestling room will be used for a hospital room scene and gymnasium scene, Barnett said. Additional shots are expected to take place in the hallways and the regular gym, he said.

I’m confuzzled. they put a random (well, not random) quote by the principal at the end of the article…oh well.
I’m not disappointed though, but I’m confuzzled (again lol). why are they using a wrestling room for a hospital scene? a gymnasium scene sure. I mean, I’m sure they can make it work, but why???
oh well. (again)

I dunno why, but it’s kinda funny they are using a college for the movie. =]

Does anyone know if the students will be able to watch the filming? I will be there during that time, and would die if I could watch them in action. That would make me whole trip!

can you imagine being a student at Kalama? sitting in class, knowing Edward Cullen is only a few feet away! i would be sitting there bouncing up and down, faking being sick, or just going out to pee the whole time.
