Sweet. I knew he was going to be Laurent since Twilight Moms were talking about an “Eddie with a G” way back when. Or, at least I hoped so. I’m glad he was cast :] And I don’t care if he’s african american, unlike most people. Everyone so far has been cast perfectly!
Yeah, i’m pretty positive he is Laurent. My friend was looking at the body double descriptions (or something like that) and it said that Laurent was black. Yay! I think that’s everyone, right? Except for Jacob? That Taylor kid has to be Jacob!

I love everyone they have casted so far except kristen stewart, and the guy thats playing Jasper. but everyone else is good. Robert Patterison is so hot<3
I saw the movie Jumper and it had Kirsten Stewart in it like a minute. She has a VERY DULL personality.
Dancer , of course its going to be a dull moment for her if shes in the movie for “like a minute”. she’s gonna be way better in twilight cuz she’s going to have way more screen time and her character will come out. u just have to be patient
Jumper was not a good movie to get a feel of Kristen Stewart in. She opened a DOOR….big deal. Watch some of her other movies. Like Speak or Catch that kid or something. Shes a gerat actress.
I haven’t seen jumper but just from the preview it looked terrible…waste of 8-10 bucks personally. I really liked in the land of women. Kristen stewart didn’t play a MAJOR part or anything but she fit with the rest of the movie. she is a good actress and i can’t wait for the Twilight movie:D i’m obsessed with the books and everythingg…i think its unhealthy…haha
me again. i’m happy with the whole cast! you won’t ever see me complaining! and i don’t judge actors really based on movies they were in unless they had a lead role. because if you have a one-minute-role, how the heck is that supposed to show her acting ability?

Yeah. I get what ya’ll are saying, but I saw The messangers too and still didn’t like her acting. And I liked Jumper probably because Hayden Christensen was awesome but to the point I think Kirsten has the looks to play Bella. And Bella is supposed to be dull too so I guess thats why she will play it good. I D K.

I’m black as well and at first I was put off by them casting Edi simply because of how Stephenie describes him in the book NOT because he is african-american (of course). As fans, we want the movie to be as close to the book as possible but Catherine is a seasoned director and obviously knows what she is doing. You can’t always be EXACT when casting a movie or it may be too “boring” and not imaginative nor creative enough for a director. For example, when people think of King Henry VIII, they think of him being ugly and fat (because he was
) However, does anyone watch the Tudors on Showtime? Uhm Jonathan Rhys Meyers is anything but FAT and UGLY! Would you watch the show if the character was FAT and UGLY? Probably not! The director had to change it up!!!
I agree with Price. It’s not like Stephenie really described him detailedly (is that a word? I don’t care) in the books. Why can’t people be a bit more flexible???????? “Ooh, you can’t use him, they turn pale when they become vampires…….” etc, etc, etc. I think he’s great!!!!!!!! I can’t WAIT until they cast other people…………like JACOB…………..HATE HIM………….but gotta see who’s playing him.

And i hate who is paying edward. ewwww. bad casting is all i can say. but bella is pretty good i guess. the cullen family was casted pretty well especially emmett his is super hit. and did anyone notice that ESme is from Grey’s Anatomy? oh and i can’t wait for breaking dawn to come out. i already reserved it. I LOVE THE TWILIGHT SERIES. and i love edward cullen.

i’m black too, and i was surprised with the casting of laurent. i mean i part black but in the book was he discribed as black. i dont think so. but it was pretty kRISPy to see that. so i read the twilight book in the beginng of 2006 and i have been hookked ever since. i went to her book signing and met here. she’s rly awesome. and super nice.
