My name is Amanda and I am possibly the biggest Twilight Fan in Australia!!!(I’m obsessed….)
I just sent an email to Oparah that read as follows(I hope you like it:P):
Dear Oprah/Producers,
My name is Amanda, I’m 13, 14 in December, and live in Sydney.
I am writing to tell you to:
GET STEPHENIE MEYER(the author of the twilight series) ON YOUR SHOW! (or suffer the consequences…..and trust me. the consequences are very deadly…
And if possible, then PLEASE (for the fans sake) bring in Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson and ask them questions like:
ARE YOU DATING?
If the answer is no, ask:
WHY THE HELL NOT!?
If the answer is yes, FAINT!!! (because I’m sure I would if I was in your position)
After you regain consciousness, tell Rob and Kris that you are extremely happy for them and that SO ARE ALL THE FANS =]
Oh, and tell them to reserve about 1,000,000 seats at their wedding…(I’m sure you can figure out who they will be for =]…)
There is not one reason why NOT to bring Stephanie Meyer and the cast of the Twilight Movie onto your show. You will get loads of publicity. (seeing as the fan base being these books/movie is like the whole of the teenage world)
You will also be making so many people happy and excited and possibly give them fatal heart attacks…But its worth the risk…
So I will leave it at this: GET STEPHENIE MEYER AND THE CAST OF THE TWILIGHT MOVIE ON YOUR SHOW!

I just sent mine to Oprah I never watch the Ellen show so if it does happen I hope its on Oprah’s show although she is a little lest “in touch” with this sort of stuff than Ellen.

Kay, so I’m definitely going to send e-mails to both. Though I personally despise Oprah..I will give that up…I think, since it would be nice to get Stephenie Meyer and the cast on both shows. But I ADORE Ellen so no doubt I’ll e-mail her.

not everyone wants twilight to go MAINSTREAM. they think it will make it lose its exclusiveness and its special quality that it holds to twilighters at the moment. once it goes mainstream it will be picked up by people unworthy of twilight, people who think they are vampires, pathetic people who just want to jump on the next fad bandwagon to get attention, people who just want attention period, and people who will not appreciate twilights beauty AT ALL. when stories like this are ‘promoted’ by talk shows and on television, they portray it in a very childish ficticious way that is unpleasant and annoying. Yes, the books are fiction, but twilighters don’t need people to go on television and pretend to be interested in the books while always making faces like “this is ridiculous” every 5 seconds. And we don’t need an awkward vibe during the interviews because the audience think it is absolutely absurd to be talking about fictitious vampires that glitter in the sun, I mean, people won’t even read the book, they’ll hear “glitters in the sun” and laugh their heads off, deciding right then and there that twilight is some childish fantasy book that they can’t understand why people love so much. So some people don’t want twilight to go mainstream. we don’t need fake fans, poser fans, attention whores, losers, or deluded pitiful and annoying children who feel that they ARE indeed one of the characters from the book and try to convince everyone that it is true.

Umm… yeah p.s. Twilight is already mainstream. As far as books go, its more mainstream then most. More people have read Twilight than have read some classic novels. If people make a judgement on the books without reading them that epitomizes childishness and non-critical thought. It is ignorant. However, the rest of us would really enjoy such interviews

well i sent mine to ellen and not to oprah because i dont know what channel shes on.=p but it sounded good and convincing and i REALLY hope it is. im looking forward to seeing them and please post when they will be coming on. thanks

To Christin- Well, it’s going to happen when the movie comes out anyway. And who says that people are “undeserving” of it? I don’t think that’s a fair statement. Just because they can’t appreciate something doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it. If people think it’s stupid- so what? Some people think it’s stupid. It’s just something you have to deal with. There will always be stupid people who read books and say that they’re fans, and there probably are already. Please, just relax a little bit.

That’s so cool!!! I really hope somone pulls through! I don’t think people should threaten them tho….that wouldn’t be good…
