I mean, yay for the calendar, but I hope to God this isn’t going to turn into a Hannah Montana affair as in they produce every possible thing that they can somehow make Twilight-ish. You know, they have everything Hannah Montana… bedspread, pencils, undergarments. I know the movie and the book are a different thing, but, it’ll really bug me if they make a bunch of merchandise that is utterly and completely pointless, only for money.
I am definately going to get the calendar. That is, if some company other than Borders picks it up. It’s my understanding that Borders is like the American equivalent of Chapters? Or is that Barnes and Noble?
I totally agree with you Nikki! The calander is great but it wont be worth my money. I rather get the books that wont go out of date on me 8D.
If it turns into a Hannah Montana thing, i dont know what i would do. But I am sure everyone is going to love the movie and havent even read the books yet. It wont load for me though.
i doubt it will go that far at least i hope not ….i mean if they make underwear and twilight watches that will be…stupid… they just might do like the calender and folders for school things like that but not as far as the ridiculous Hannah Montana stuff..but im soooo getting that calender!!!
Well after reading all the 5 comments, I thought about it. And I completely agree with all of you who are saying that you would hate it if it turned into a “Hannah Montana merchandise thing.” There’s only two reasons why I’m going to get the calendar: 1- After the years go by and there’s no point in having the calendar anymore, I’m going to cut out the pictures and turn them into my own little posters for my room. 2- I need a calendar

Lol. I don’t want it to be the next “Hannah Montana” or HSM considering I hate those. *shudders* Nobody will really care though if it does get to be like that. You know we’ll all be buying all of the stuff anyways. We’ll all be broke by December, our rooms will be filled with merchandise, and we won’t care at all. Remember all of us Twilighters are a little nuts. ;p
i think they might try to make it a Hanna Montana or more likley a HSM because of Spunk and trying to make more money. they might go overboard and start attracting little children like HM or HSM which i’m sure no twilighter wants to happen

i agree with Freak_Out though, i’m sure i’ll have a million twilight things im my room, but i’m still worried that after, twilight will become just another money making franchise like the mentioned above

I’m so getting one. Even when the calender gets out of date, I can just take the pictures in there and put on my walls like little posters, just like freak_out said. It might be a little like Hannah Montana, it won’t get out of hand like the undergarments and bedspreads,but it might just be like what Ashleyga said it might just be the calender, folders for school, and posters, but nothing like Hannah Montana, thats kind of for little kids, no offense to Hannah Montana fans that are teens or anyone older than a 11 year old or some age like that

I will probably get the calender too, but would it be that horrible if Twilight became the next HM and HSM? I mean who wouldn’t want to go to bed every night with Edward Cullen (and better yet Robert Pattinson). And Twilight is most likely not going to reach the same age group as the new disney shows and movies (old disney is the bomb and should not be in the same group as the new disney). I wouldn’t mind some merchandise, but not to the degree of HM stuff.
i disagree i mean i do want to calender but it would be so awesome if they changed everything they can find into something that revolves around Twilight. i mean there are 3.2 millionTwilight fans all over the world and im sure they would love to have a twilight bed spread or journal and things like that!!! I would probably freak if that happened. MY whole house would be Twilight. Haha
