We love Rob to death but this pic is so not flattering! He looks like a crazed drug addict. The collar of his shirt is so going for the Dracula “I’m a freak” look. He is wearing makeup (lipstick), and he looks like a freakin’ clown! And he doesn’t even have golden eyes! What a rip off! I (Madi) thought it was fake when I first saw it! And for one, even though I (Lily) think Kristen looks very pretty, she looks to fake to be Bella. All in all, this was by far the worst picture to put on a cover of a magazine, because everyone will get the wrong idea about the best books in the world.

Yes, you’re right, it doesn’t look like Bella at all. But ET is still a company trying to make money. Their ultimate goal is to make money, and they know they’re going to pull in a LOT with this edition.
They also want to pull in the crowd that isn’t familiar with the series.
So which is more attractive: Kristen in a stunning white dress, or Kristen in jeans, a sweatshirt, and a backpack?
It’s as old as time: sex sells, people.
So there’s a reason for Bella’s “fancy” new look. It’s so they can make a little extra cash.

As for Rob, I’ve realized he looks better in photos when he doesn’t know he’s having his picture taken. All publicity shots of him aren’t very flattering, but we all ate up the “behind the scene” photos people took when they did the school scenes.

Good representation of Twilight? You must be joking! Bella – average and plain looking. Edward – Hauntingly beautiful, an Adonis. They have actually switched roles!! When I first saw EW’s shot, I too, immediately thought of that famous picture of Fay Wray (sp?) from King Kong (1933). Kristen has that same facial expression. Though I do think she looks stunning, she looks much more like “Bella” in the movie poster – not that I was all that thrilled with the look of Edward in that one either! But, I degress… Seriously though, the whole shot looks like a bad SNL parody of Twilight!! I mean really. It’s awful. And I was shocked that anyone thought differently. I mean look at him! He looks so MUCH better than that in the movie clips! Who approved this shot?! I can see someone who has never read these books, looking at this cover and thinking, “yeah, not going to see THAT cheesey looking film!” It’s just really disappointing!! No offense to anyone who thinks otherwise…but when i saw this picture, i was like…WHAT!!
It looks sexy and seductive and all but it seems all wrong for Twilight. First of all, I’ve seen Rob’s pictures as Edward from the film and they look really different from his shot here. His hair is soooo badly styled here, very unlike the ones in the official Twilight movie pictures and it’s not Edward at all. His arms are a little (hehe…no offense there) too hairy and he looks too rugged to be the moral yet “beautiful” Edward Cullen. And the eyes, need I say more? Kristen looks gorgeous in this picture, but it’s not Bella at all…the apple is a good touch, but her hair is too dark, her eyes are sort of greenish (Bella’s are brown and even in the movie poster they were brown!) and her overall look is just too un-Bella like. I agree with some of the comments here, they tried to make it look like those other vampire movies and add a little bit of sex appeal too…and Twilight is not really both of those…
Don’t get me wrong, the picture has an amazing effect, but it’s not exactly right.
In my opinion, they got a picture of Rob, Photoshopped it so it “looks like” Edward, took a picture of Kristen, made her look alluring and then stuck it together with Rob’s. It looks like they didn’t take this picture together…but that’s just me, i don’t know what you guys think…hehe.

…adding to what i said, Rob does look like a vampire here (which is fantastic…well, that’s probably one of the really few fantastic parts about this picture)….
the movie is going to be great in my opinion, it’s just, this photo won’t do a good job in promoting it to the book fans…. a lot would judge the film based on this picture…
the magazine should have gotten a photographer who really got the real essence of Bella and Edward’s romance…

i think rob doesn’t look like edward. he definitely looks older and it throws everything off. but it’s cool to have them on the cover of entertainment.

but i think they could have done a better job of them. but then again they’re promoting the actors as well as the movie/book so i can’t blame them for making them look a bit different than the movie.

rob will always be handsome though, no matter what make-up hair-do or clothes they slap on him. he can pull of just about anything.

Okay, I feel like I’m the only one saying this, but I think that this pic is amazing. When i first saw it I practically screamed in joy.

Here’s why we don’t like it:

Think about this people. We are so obsessed it isn’t even funny. We love our books so much and we don’t want it to be ruined.

Any of you Harry Potter fans? Were any of you mad at the 5th movie? Did you feel like they didn’t capture the essence of the masterpiece of the book right? When you look past all the adaptation crap, it was a REALLY good movie and it was amazingly well done. It grew on me, at least.

What we are expecting is the exact Rob that we saw in the promo pics and exactly what we pictured while reading. We’ve seen all the videos and are expecting perfection. We might get it, but the picture wasn’t perfect for most of us. Its going to be amazing, but there will be flaws. This is one of them, at least for most. Don’t worry, we’ll still love the movie just the same

no no nooo. i dont like this picture! I just dont think that Rob looks the part, and as the book describes Bella..shes supposed to be plain and stuff. I just think its a bit messed up. Remove the hairy chest, fix the eyes and maybe clean him up a little. Ughhhh i dunno. I really love the books and so far the things I’ve seen about the movie look awesome, but this picture just doesn’t look right. oh noooo.

This picture does not to Rob justice! He looks like a creep, which makes me sad because i think he is gorgeous and and a perfect Edward, this picture of him is not good! Regardless, im still going to get it! but Kristen looks amazing.

I like how Kristen looks, she doesnt look like Bella, but she still looks beautiful. As for Robert, I think they just got the wrong impression about the books. Eww

That is a horrible picture. He has chest hair and man boobs! He looks fakeishly white and bella looks WAYYYYYY to confident AND beautiful….i hate it.

Personally, I don’t like the picture of Rob. He looks so different to what he looks like in the movie clips and trailers. The pictures too posed, but Kristen looks awesome.
