suggestions:
1) keep layout but change colour scheme back to black and red
2) defs keep the banner!
3) dont make it look anymore like those typical teenage fansites

ok so i read through every comment!
i too, had to doublecheck which website i was on.
and someone said it was a bit like a lindsay lohan fansite..have to agree!
i think that this website looks more “professional” and the old one looked a bit…low budget. this one is just cleaner. maybe change the colour shceme back to red and black but leave this layout and font etc.
definately keep the banner!
