Ok, first thing I thought was someone (i.e. Jane, Demetri, Felix…) said something they’d do to Emmett and she gets defensive.
Now, however, after reading other peoples ideas, it could be something she says to Bella being sarcastic, if (like I hope) they are on more friendly terms.
It really is like wedding mania for every quote. That’s really the only event everyone assumes will happen in the book, so it’s the easiest thing to relate the quotes to, heh.
I hope it’s Rosalie being sarcastic. She’s always just kind of stuffy and serious and in a bad mood all the time. It’d be nice to know she actually does have a sense of humor.
Maybe someone is thinking about crashing the wedding and Alice sees this and tells her family…. and Rosalie is mad!

Maybe they’re talking about who’s going to change Bella, and, for somereason, Edward can’t do it. So, Carsile suggests that Rosalie does it, and she says that. OR she’s being sarcastic about Bella changing, because it’s taking Edward a long time to prepare, and he says, why don’t you do it then? And she says the quote then.
