Maybe Sam is talking about Tanya’s family coming to visit for the wedding. The treaty only reffered to the Cullens but Tanya’s family are “vegitarians” too so maybe that’s what he is talking about. I don’t know if it’s about Bella being changed, at least not by a Cullen, in eclipse Jacob expressly says that it’s against the treaty for the Cullens to Bite anyone. Who knows, what if someone else besides the Cullens ends up changing Bella but she is married to Edward and wants to stay in Forks, that would put her under the treaty but she is a new vamp and so very dangerous! Who knows, it could be a million different things!!

wait, i just realized, it says “not something our treaty anticipated”, so maybe it’s something that the treaty doesn’t cover that could be a danger. not just the cullens making new vampires. something else that could be dangerous that the treaty doesn’t prevent because it’s not something they thought would happen or something that seemed impossible or just something they forgot!!!

i agree that it’s something different than bella becoming a vampire, i think it involves the volutri. because if bella gets bitten at all, remember? the treaty with the wolves is off. so there has to be some loop hole & i think it involves the volturi.

omg you guys. i just had this wacko thought. i have a writers mind so i tend to think about things a bit differently but what if bella is changed but not all the venom was sucked ou of her after the whole James incedent? and then, because she will now have two venoms running through her and been bitten twice, something goes wrong with her? for example (this is my theory) what if she were to become a whole new type of vampire? one that craves the blood or taste of a vampire instead the blood o a human. and by being a vegitarian she feeds off of animals but she really thirsts for vampire blood. wouldn’t that be strange? because then both edward AND bella would have this uncanny desire for one another. and her power is like, mind control or the ability to deflecy or “turn off” other vampires powers. for example, if Jane was about to use her mind trick on someone, Bella could just stop her from using it. Like turning off a light. these theories are totally off topic but i had to get them out there.

This is probably going to make me sound stupid but since I’m tired and can’t remember everything…the treaty was meant for the CULLEN family and that they can’t bite a human, right? So if Bella were to marry Edward then she’s part of the Cullen family….so would the treaty even count with her? Sure, she may be human, but they wolf pack never thought that a human would actually marry a vampire, right?
But I do agree that the danger is the Volturi because they definitely aren’t “vegetarians” and the wolf pack never imagined that they would be coming specifically for Bella.
i dont know of they have blood either. but what id it’s the urge to kill? do you need any more than that for a good suspense story line?

I think that this might be that Jacob imprinted on Tanya or something. The treaty doesn’t anticipate a werewolf imprinting on a vampire, b/c that would mean that the werewolves had to be nice to the vampires, seeing as one of their friends is ‘in love’ with one. Also, I think that that would mean that Tanya would be be coming down to La Push to live with Jacob or something, and since she’s not a vegetarian, she would be a threat to all the humans.

i think the best theory is from JINXX because the treaty is between the WEREWOLVES and the CULLENS, not vampires in general. so if bella marries edward, she WILL be a cullen when they change her. a human actually wanting to be a vampire is something the treaty wouldnt have anticipated, so maybe thats how it will all fit in. the danger for the humans is the threat of a newborn vampire (bella) who has not yet turned vegetarian…

1. The wolves are considering Bella’s transformation, which would break the treaty, but prevent the Volturi from running amuck in Forks?
2. They’re in Alaska and by some odd reason, ANOTHER wolf pack is in Alaska but they’re bad and then EVERBODY including the Volturi, and just a load of bloodthirsty vampires and mad werewolves and stuff go to some crazy war killing every human in the Olympuc Peninsula AND it’s all Bella’s fault.
