It’s not a coincident. That’s why the chose that date. On august 1st following the usual time of Twilight, there happens to be a New Moon and a total solar Eclipse.
i think she planned that..
because it would honour all of her books in the twilight series…
because…
the night before will be an ECLIPSE
and an eclipse causes a NEW MOON
and her book coming out the next day (BREAKING DAWN =D hehe i know you all know xD) will come out during the TWILIGHT hours…

I was just thinking of how funny and coincidental that was and then my dad ruined it by saying “Don’t you think they planned that? Like they saw the eclipse was going to be on that date and thought it would be the perfect release date?” Jeeze! I hate when he does that! lol i noticed that when i was reading a magazine while i was coming back from vacation lol i nearly had a stroke on the plane lol and to add to it we were ‘flying with captin cullen’ lol it was like the ideal twilight flight lol

Its not a coincidence. They chose that date on purpose. There’s a full moon, and an eclipse that day. Which then makes the next day ‘ BREAKING DAWN’, and the book is coming out on that day too
