I think something happens and Jasper is put into a position where he feels someone else’s feelings, but he doesn’t really recognize what the feeling is. Like maybe when Bella is turned into a vampire, something happens and she’s not like a ‘normal’ newborn and is acting all weird. And everyone tries to make Bella come out of her weird state and when Jasper tries to get her out of her feelings, he can’t and he tries a lot but no matter, she wont’ change..and he cant figure out the feeling that she is giving off. (B/c Jasper can know what people are feeling, not only change them….right? ) |

I think maybe bella is able to turn of other vamps powers and so when she is changed she and she is around jasper he cant sense the feelings around him. And since he has felt feelings for so long it is really strange for him to NOT feel them…thats why he says he CANT understand…not I dont understand…CANT is the keyword i think… |

Sry if I repeat something, but I don’t have the time to read everything above. I think it may be that Bella’s aversion of blood as a human may transfer over when she becomes a vamp. Jasper is thinking that when she turns he’ll no longer be the weakest link in the clan, but is surprised when right after the transformation Bella is all ready able to resist human blood. This is a complete guess, and sense it’s mine, it’s probably wrong. |
