I think something happens and Jasper is put into a position where he feels someone else’s feelings, but he doesn’t really recognize what the feeling is. Like maybe when Bella is turned into a vampire, something happens and she’s not like a ‘normal’ newborn and is acting all weird. And everyone tries to make Bella come out of her weird state and when Jasper tries to get her out of her feelings, he can’t and he tries a lot but no matter, she wont’ change..and he cant figure out the feeling that she is giving off. (B/c Jasper can know what people are feeling, not only change them….right? )

I think maybe bella is able to turn of other vamps powers and so when she is changed she and she is around jasper he cant sense the feelings around him. And since he has felt feelings for so long it is really strange for him to NOT feel them…thats why he says he CANT understand…not I dont understand…CANT is the keyword i think…

JASPER “can’t understand” all the cryptic Breaking Dawn quotes, and he “can’t bear” having to wait for it to come out. He also “can’t understand” why the publishers have to make us Aussies wait 2 DAYS LONGER than everyone else and therefore avoid the internet because of spoilers therefore not being able to do their assignments because they are too stressed about Breaking Dawn! He is feeling my pain, and can’t understand how people can be so unkind.

Maybe Bella’s power is to be able to switch POWERS.
Like give Jasper edwards power, and in return Edward will get Jasper’s ?? BUT only for a little while. Then she can switch them back. Same for any special powers CULLENS or other vamps
