  Maybe Edward is going to bite Bella, and Jasper is within the distance to feel her pain. He hasn’t been with the Cullens that long, and hasn’t been around when someone was changed. SO he can’t undersatnd or bear it. 4moredawndayssssssssssss.

  I GOT IT! I KNOW WHATHE MEANS! I bet you ANYTHING I know what he means. If the spoiler Meyer gave was correct., I bet Edward tURNS BELLA AND SHE ISN’T THURSTING AFTER THE BLOOD! I bet he’s saying it as in “I can’t believe she’s not affect by blood!”

  Sry if I repeat something, but I don’t have the time to read everything above.

  I think it may be that Bella’s aversion of blood as a human may transfer over when she becomes a vamp. Jasper is thinking that when she turns he’ll no longer be the weakest link in the clan, but is surprised when right after the transformation Bella is all ready able to resist human blood. This is a complete guess, and sense it’s mine, it’s probably wrong.
