I think that someone is in a fatal condition and Bella wants to save that person so she takes him/her to Carlisle and asks him to turn that person into a vampire. But Carlisle doesn’t know if there is a chance to save them by turning them into a vampire. He’s probably heard of many people in horrible conditions being saved by being turned into a vampire, but he doesn’t know if it’ll work in this situation.

Well i think that Carlisle is talking to Bella about Charlie or Renee……i have a stronger feeling that it is Charlie who got hurt because in one quote of the day it says Bells we’re up to bat from Charlie….which could possibly mean that Bella is a vampire and Charlie knows about it and goes to watch a baseball game with the Cullens….idk i cant wait for the book!!!!
He could also possibly be talking about Jacob’s broken heart when Bella gets married…. then Carlisle says that when he sees how miserable Jacob is at the wedding……its possible…srry Jacob fans lol

-I feel like, Jake asked one of the Cullens to try and bite him to see if he could become a vampire too..or in this case, a vampire/werewolf..that way he could try to stay with Bella too..but maybe..the werewolf genes were too strong to overcome the venom?Idk…

-this is the same theory BUT, maybe, he imprinted on Tanya..or…one of the Denali clan members..and so he tries to ask one of the vampires to change him so that he can become a vampire/werewolf so that the stench would be easier to handle so that him and Tanya or one of the Denali Clan members could love each other more easily..but like what I said again, the werewolf genes might’ve been too hard to overcome for vampire venom

My friend thinks like ~BD~. Charlie may be hurt and Bella wants to save him but Carlisle isn’t positive it’ll work. Remember someone has to die. And Charlie is alone, he only has Bella (who he will never see again when she’ll be a vampire, then he’ll be absolutely alone). Renee has Phil. Easy to kill Charlie, then. I think that maybe Charlie or maybe Renee got hurt and the doctors dont think there is a very good chance of them surviving and she asks Carlise to change them but Carlisle does not think it would save them. That probably isnt right but idk that is what i think.
