I’m not getting excited until it’s confirmed. I mean, a part of me is freaking out, but the bigger part is cautious. Until it’s actually confirmed, I wouldn’t get too excited.

I though it was rumored to be coming out in december 2009…that they were hoping to do it like harry potter and have one out every year…that would be so much better….but im with sarah…im not getting my hope up for anything until its confirmed and on stephenies site and summits official site…

OMG! I am really excited about this. New Moon was my Favorite book out of the series. Also, I get to see Jacob as a wolf. Yes, I can’t wait!

OME! YAYAYAYYA. I am going to cry when he leaves her. i cry every time i read new moon even though i know they get back together. ome i am so happy i would probably be jumping up and down if i didn’t just wake up.

well they changed the date for twilight once they can probably change it for new moon. this is also the first sign that they will make a new moon so that may have just been a guess.

…by the time they get to Breaking Dawn the cast would have aged a bit… which kind of throws it off, in some ways i don’t think they should have made a movie, but i am still glad they did!!!

they should do it like pirates of the caribbean where they just shoot all the movies at once and then bring them out each year. that what they did for 2 and 3. them the cast got twilight wouldn’t age so much!

Yeah I agree Alica. The whole non-aging vampires thing does make it difficult but I’m sure they’ll manage it somehow.

HEY PEOPLES! you ever think that they are just doing this so IFFFF they get the rights to film new moon, they can start right away???? i really dont think they have the rights NOW. they are just preparing.

i dont mean to be ms. downside – i have no worries that twilight will be a success – but im one person trying really hard not to get my hopes up!

(oh and for the aging thing: they are probably filming it NOW just in case, and maybe even eclipse?, so that the fans and audience wont notice too big an age difference in the vampire actors. just a thought)

I had read this a while back, but didn’t freak out. Because we heard from everyone that New Moon will be made only if Twilight is a success (of course it will) but maybe they already know it’s going to be a success… but I am also excited because if they make New Moon into a movie, then that means that they have to do all of the rest. I want the Eclipse and Breaking Dawn the most now because they are so far away from making those. And, I really love those 2 books.

whoa.I REAALLYYYY CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!oh my holy god.

I honestly am a bit dissapointed in the twlight movie. don’t kill me for saying so, but as an obsessed fan as most of you, I feel that some of the integrity of the story is lost in this film. as an example: the fight scene between edward and james. first of all that box died pony tail james is wearing is insulting. second, i think the director of the film could have done something really beautiful with this scene by sticking with bella’s unconscience dream of drowning with the sound of angle’s voices. the fire bringing her back to reality. that could have been more beautiful and artsy then the the easy way out..a fight which was only eluded to in her unconscience state. alot of books that are turned into movies lack the tone and essence only a writer like mrs. meyer can give you, but this could have been better.

It is official Summit gave word a couple of weeks ago! Originally it was “speculated” that IF New Moon got approved for production then it would probably come out December 2009 but I think what’s going to happen is they are going to shoot New Moon and Eclipse together…soooooo yeah! I’ll absolutely wait a couple years for this!

I bet none of you realized that New Moon is listed for release 2010, Eclipse listed for 2012 and Breaking Dawn it seems is 2013? All on imdb.com .. just look up Twilight and go to Movie Connections.

On stephenie meyer’s website, it said that it was coming out next summer (2009)!!!! i am so excited!! i hope they keep Taylor Lautner as Jacob!!! he is FINE!! he sure does make it hard to be on TEAM EDWARD, but Robert Pattinson keeps me a faithful Vampire Lover!! go TEAM EDWARD!!

OMG!! I was watching the kids choice awards and Taylor Lautnor said there already filming New Moon and its gonna be in theaters November O9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was to be realised in November 2009 because Harry Potter was coming out at that time and they rescheduled it to June or July. Eclipse is coming out next year because they are having like a few months break between filming New Moon and then its straight back to filming Eclipse for the 2010 release.

i cant believe that they are making eclipse jus 8 months after new moon! june 30th* and i cant WAIT till new moon! and i hope they do put america ferrera in the movie! she is great..and thank GOD vanessa isnt in the movie…GO TWILIGHT!
