In his rearview mirror, Edward’s eyes were on me. He was unquestionably shaking with laughter, as if he’d heard every word Tyler had said. My foot itched toward the gas pedal… one little bump wouldn’t hurt any of them, just that glossy silver paint job. I revved the engine. — Bella Swan, Twilight | Chapter 4

My Mag Scoop- TV Guide and EW

»Since I subscribe to all these entertainment magazines, I figure I might as well start taking pics of the Twilight related things. Unfortunately, I don’t have a scanner, so pictures taken with my cheap Kodak camera will have to do! [Click the pics to make them bigger! They look much better big, trust me!]

»Here are two pictures that go with the Elizabeth Reaser interview I posted earlier [and if you saw that before, I mistaken said it was in EW. It's actually this week's TV Guide Magazine].

»Here are pictures from the September 12th issue of Entertainment Weekly, which is a special double issue with 3 different Gossip Girl covers! Yay! Haha.

[EDIT] Here’s a scan from Jenny!

»I can type up the article, if you guys want. =] Here is is!

Twilight director Catherine Hardwick and her crew of vampires were back at it this past week with a series of reshoots for the Nov. 21 film based on Stephenie Meyer’s hugely popular franchise. “It’s pretty cool,” says Hardwicke. “We got to shoot some things I really wanted.” Reshoots often hint that there may be a problem with a movie, but that doesn’t appear to be the case with Twilight, who’s initial 44-day Oregon production was plagued by multiple weather-related difficulties. One newly redone scene shows Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) playing Bella’s lullaby. During the Oregon shoot, Pattinson improvised with his own music now he’s playing the actual song, which has been written by veteran film composer Carter Burwell (No Country for Old Men). “[Pattinson] is a great pianist, long vampire fingers,” says Hardwicke. (She’d originally asked Pattinson to write Bella’s lullaby for the film, but he declined, though Hardwicke says two of his songs will still be heard in the film.) Hardwicke also reshot the bedroom kissing scene between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward, additional footage of Jacob (Taylor Lautner), and more footage that sheds light on the Cullens’ backstory. Says the director, “It’s all just icing on the cake.” Which should leave fans feeling a little better after the surprising events that recently shook up their not-so-little corner of the universe: On Aug. 28, Meyer announced that she was indefinitely postponing Midnight Sun- a companion novel to the series that describes events from Edward’s perspective- after an early draft that the author claims was “messy and flawed” was illegally leaked online last month. -Nicole Sperling
