MediaBlvd> Catherine, how important was it for you to be as true to Stephenie’s creation as you could?
Catherine Hardwicke> The earlier script that they had before was just pretty crazy. Bella was a track star in the first scene. I read it and was like, “This isn’t the girl from the book that I love!” So, everybody wanted to make it as close to the book as possible. The book is long, so we can’t have every scene, but we did the sweetened, condensed milk version.

Karma, but I don’t mean to just expect good to come from your good deeds, but to be prepared for the inevitable low points of life. Good and Bad exist on the same plane and it is our plight as humans to experience both. “Be still and know”, because even in the darkest times, the light will find you.

I love Paramore!! the soundtrack should be amazing, considering the woman behind it did the OC, and I have all of the OC mixes… she does an awesome job mixing the sound with what’s going on in the scene. AND–if they would’ve actually made Bella a track star, omg… that’d definitely be weird, lol

I hate Paramore, but I bet that the songs they are going to put in the movie are very good. The woman is good at mixing the music? I really hope so. Do you have any of the music she has mixed?
is it just me or does kristen fit bellas description off screen. She looks (in a very good was) awkward like in heels and a dress, she just looks like get me some sweats or jeans. haha. i love kristen in every movie she has done.
from the mtv article about twilight being a good fit, it says “Alexandra Patsavas, the music supervisor who’s made her mark on shows like “Gossip Girl,” “The O.C.” and “Grey’s Anatomy” “… and I will say, those are 3 of my all time favorite tv shows… and that the music in Grey’s Anatomy especially perfectly fits the scences… so I have no doubt that the twilight movie music will probably be amazing
and I agree with you, Elizabeth… I think she’s a “plain, normal” looking girl, but she’s still so beautiful

Paramore are my favourite band, and Twilight is one of my favourite books. What a combination. And the fact that Rob, Kristen, Cam and Taylor introduced them at the VMAs. Coincidence?
