Tonner Doll Company, an award-winning designer and manufacturer of high-end collectible dolls and figures, has been granted the license for character figures based on the much-anticipated movie from Summit Entertainment, TWILIGHT, which arrives in theatres nation-wide on November 21, 2008.
Sculpted in the likenesses of the film’s lead characters - Edward Cullen (as portrayed by Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan
(as portrayed by Kristen Stewart), – each fully-authorized, highly-collectible TONNER CHARACTER FIGURE™ (TCF)
will give fans the opportunity to possess their very own Edward and Bella for all eternity. TWILIGHT TONNER

yeah seriously, this is a waste of money. yeah i totally dont mind books (XD!!), calendrs, bookmarks, shirts etc but they’re making twilight everything just so we can buy it!! hot topic is planning to now have perfume, cosmetics, pj’s (lol). i mean i talked to a few friends of mine and they’re not into twilight anymorw cuz its turning into a cult or people are making a big deal out of it. so yeah twilight is special. it should be spread out and mentioned to people but not like this!! stephanie (i would think) wouldnt do this. now this is plain creepy!! the reason why thery’re doing this is because of $$$$ (stuipd economy!!). we already have the books, movies, posters, bookmarks, and shirts so there!! jeez!

i get your point but when do they think they crossed a line as far as the merch is considered. I think it would be great to see how our wonderful Mrs. Meyer feels abuot all this… and lets take it from there. Remember as twilighters we love the characters almost as much as she does. if she thinks this is whats best for edward and bella then we will support her and if not we wont buy the mass money maker merch. We are all true twilighters because we care, and we know the stories better then any wanna be just jumping on the twilight train. So dont worry we wont fall inot the merch trap. Stay positive and remember the reason we love twilight so much…Thats whats makes us true twilighters

i think that certain sorts of merchandise, can be taking it too far. let’s think about this for a second. i, personally, have never heard of tonner before now. then it’s mentioned that each figure is about $200! that might be an exaggeration of sorts, but no matter how cool/creepy these things are, no doll is worth that much. i wish summit would remember that many twilight fans (and their families) are kinda strapped for cash these days (thanks, in large part, to the economy), and not allow for this overpriced craziness…

These are collector dolls…not dolls intended for a 5 year old to play with. If your not a doll collector you would not know the value. They will be worth more one day than the $150 selling price…once they are gone they’re gone. Now when Hasbro or Fisher Price starts making Twilight products then maybe they’ve gone to far….JMOO.

the tonner dolls will be around 120.00 ea. however, mattel (yes barbie) is coming out with dolls, sold on the canadian toys’r'us site, for around 35.00 but they wont be shipped until oct…only saw edward and bella so far…
