2- hella stole the piano on the car from vanessa carlton and that other video where a dude’s playing piano on the ocean and everything like starts turning into crayon

hm…I liked it, but I thought from her description that the mermaid would be a more shown thing in the vid. Like in the water not lying down like she was, but swimming underneath with long flowing hair. But oh well…lolz. I saw them perform that last month, had no idea at the time that she’d direct the music vid for it.

You know I really like Jack’s Mannequin, but I don’t like this video. The only good parts were the colors and the lead singer(so cute!). It was just too much nonsense and no story. And I didn’t like the quick changes of the scenes. Oh well, but I do like the song.

The atmosphere of the video was beautiful — I was loving it up until the creepy Mermaid that looked dead under the water . . . . I don’t know, it just dredged up flashbacks of “What Lies Beneath” for me *shivers*

Other than that, fantastic!! Loved the song!

I liked the video. not exactly ground breaking, but it was cute. I didn’t think it was choppy, though. I just thought that the guy/singer was trying to avoid commitment or a romantic connection or something… with the whole running away from the ocean and being afraid of it before taking “the plunge”, so to speak, and realizing it’s not so scary and unknown after all.

yeah Jill the creepy Mermaid chick kinda killed it. I was lovin it up till then.
The hearts were a really cute Idea.:)
