MTV has a new interview with Peter who portrays Carlise in the upcoming Twilight movie, read it here.
“MTV: Did you do anything crazy for your “Twilight” audition?
Facinelli: It wasn’t crazy, but I’ll tell you what I did: I was reading for Carlisle, and I read ["Twilight"] in a day and absolutely loved the book. I went in and read for [director] Catherine [Hardwicke], and I did a good job, and Catherine had a small list of actors that she wanted to play the role. Unfortunately, the role didn’t go to me.”

i don’t know Elf…i can’t read the rest of the artical because MTV’s website is blocked at my job…but i think maybe he is joking about wanting to have played Edward?? i dunno…but he makes a good Carlise in my opinion.

THEY ORGINALLY GAVE THE PART TO A BIG NAME ACTOR. SO PETER BEING THE GREAT GUY HE IS GAVE CATHRINE THIS BOOK ON HOLLYWOOD VAMPS THROUGH OUT THE YEAR . WHEN THE BIG NAME ACTOR CANCELED CATHRINE WANTED PETER AND CALLED HIM AND GAVE HIM THE PART

finally i was able to read the artical now that i’m home…i hate that so many sites are blocked at work!!!
i thought it was an awsome artical…it does kinda suck that he was 2nd choise but i’m really glad he got the role!!! this movie is going to rock so much!!! i think they’re all going to do great!
The whole bit at the end where they are talking about someone calling Carlisle a f— . I thought was absolutely hilarious! Especially the “Pattinson! I know it’s you!” << ha ha
