» Mtv has posted an article linking to the picture of the final Twilight movie poster over at Cinematical.
Our good friends over at Cinematical have premiered the final “Twilight” poster. (Click to see the full, hi-res version).
It’s dark, it’s romantic, it’s decidedly reminiscent of the first poster, not that surprising, perhaps, given that photographer Joey Lawrence promised MTV that his creations would continue to focus on Rob and Kristen. Let’s be honest, it’s probably going to someday wind up on your wall.
But what is it ultimately? It’s up to you to decide, that’s what. Sound off on what you think of the poster below.
But while we have your attention: we’re just a month and change away from the movie’s release, and the series still seems ghettoized by most internet pundits and commentators. Even Cinematical, bless them, wrote that the project was only supported by a “few demographic groups (mainly young women and their moms).” Let’s not cast stones. Let’s instead say you’d never heard of “Twilight.” Maybe vampiric lore isn’t your thing. Maybe you live in a cave. But, the point is, you’ve never heard of “Twilight.” Knowing nothing else, does this poster make you more or less likely to see the movie? Does it make you excited to see this over “Quantum of Solace,” say, or “High School Musical 3″? In short, does it do a good job of selling the film to moviegoers outside the novel’s core audience?
And don’t forget to tune in tomorrow for another edition of “Twilight Tuesday,” where the stars of the film will once again answer your questions.

I like it. But i still like the first one( which is already hanging above my bed in my dormroom) better i think because i like how bellas looking out but edwards looking at her. then again because they are both looking at the viewer in this one it might catch a non twilighter’s attention.

I like this poster, he finally looks like a vampire! His eyes are too beautiful! His skin is even better! ::swoon::
I think Robert Pattinson is extremely gorgeous of course, but honestly, this picture does nothing for him. His face looks disproportionate (slanted i know but look at the eyes) and just not quite as dashing as the other poster or his individual poster. As far as Kristen Stewart Goes, she looks incredible and to me it’s a typical “Bella” Look.

Except for the broken neck thing. But the faces do kind look… distorted.
I dunno. If I had no clue what the book or movie was, the poster would not help convince me to go see it. It’s… uninteresting, and kinda creepy actually…
Boring. That was the word I was looking for. Jeez. it took me several minutes to figure out what the six letter word on the tip of my tongue was.
I LOVE IT! I like the first one better, but just a little more. If you people have nothing nice to say, then leave and don’t ruin our excitement, please.
I dislike it to the max, along with the rest. Im a huge Twilight fan so dont scream at me or anything. They are just too…..cartoon! They look so fake! You cant even appreciate Robert’s gorgeous face because it isnt his!!!!! Plus he always looks like a monster and evil in all of them. Not cool. Of course he is protective we all know this…..but to me he is just scary on all the posters. This poster would NOT make me want to see the movie if I didnt know what Twilight was, it looks corny.

I love it way better than the first one. I mean in the first you didn’t see any of edwards character kinda. he looks protective and comical at the same time in this one (not to mention GORGEOUS). It must be that crooked smile lolz and she just looks innocent and scared bella.
I do agree though, that it would be hard to get someone who didn’t know wat twilight was to watch it. Even with the first poster too. It’s similar to getting someone to read it. It’s like “what’s it about?” “a vampire who falls in love with a human girl” and the person automatically doesn’t want to read it. I was like that. It took months of convincing and then re-reading the sleeve. I think, though, that they’re still good posters. I mean Edward and Bella are what it’s mostly about, the focus. They could have shown maybe an action scene blended in or something to help, but there’s not that much you can do…
This one is soooooo much better than the first one. They all still look very photo-shopped. Every promo pic too looks photo- shopped. Will there ever be one that looks like the cast is in the same place at the same time?
i think Joey did a great job… I think it intrigues anyone who doesnt know anything about the book or movie it looks great

i’m not sure about this one, the previous one is hanging on my wall but i like that one better because it tells you that edward is her protector in some way. But this one makes him look like the real threat, even though he is a threat to Bella, he just looks so scary, and his eyes aren’t really good either.

Im not feeling this poster at all. I dont think Ive ever “seen” this look on Edwards face. I prefer the first poster because I think it transmits the feelings between Edward and Bella so much better than this one. This new poster doesnt tell me anything about what they have. And I dont like how Edward looks on this picture, and thats saying a lot.
This poster is ok, but I like the other one better. And I like the tagline better on the other one too, I don’t really like the tagline on this one.

Bella looks more ordinary than she has before, which is a good thing. Edwards looks… dead. But still totally hot! I feel like I can’t really see them because of the shadows on their faces…
But if I wasn’t a huge Twilight-fan I would still go see it just from looking at this poster!

I like Kristen Stewart in this one, but RPattz looks really, really bad! I completely agree with Nikki – Kristen looks the part of Bella – definitely.
