Stephenie’s site has been updated with a track list of the Twilight Soundtrack!
“We are excited that we’ve been given the exclusive track list announcement for the Twilight soundtrack (in stores November 4th). We can also confirm that every song listed below will also be featured IN the Twilight movie. The soundtrack has exclusive songs written specifically for the movie from Paramore and Perry Ferrell. The Twilight soundtrack also features two songs from Robert Pattinson—this is the first time Rob has recorded or released music. And, of course, no Twilight project would be complete without Muse.

There is a great band called VAST that is so perfect for this soundtrack. Is there any place to suggest music that the decision makers can see suggestions?
if they do make a new moon movie evanescence needs to be the main artist. i want everyone who sees this to go and listen to ‘my immortal’ omg i mean even by the title you know its linked to twilight. every time i hear it i start to choke up it is so sad.
but its an amazing song. by the amazing amy lee. who has the flipping voice of an angel…. haha. sorry just had to say that they are like my fave band.

I’m soooo happy about alot of this music!!! I’m sooo going to buy some of that Black Ghosts stuff… it’s great! I love how it’s all kind of dark, then light, electronic and folksy. I mean, Iron and Wine you can’t go wrong!!!

I’m kind of sad now. They said all these songs are going to be IN the movie… In my experiences, movies that use mostly previously-recorded music on their soundtracks tend to focus on fitting the scenes around the songs and don’t focus on the story itself. (Garden State used an amazing soundtrack to cover up a lack of plot) So while the songs are pretty awesome, I’m afraid that the Twilight movie may just become a two-hour long music video with Linkin Park and Paramore. :/ We’ll see how it all works out. I’m still way excited for the movie, anyways.

wish they had more instrumental music on the soundtrack. instrumental music tends to be more heartfelt and less distracting. its also composed for the movie so u know its going to be good. but its still exciting news!

I am intrigued to hear Rob’s song, I think his music is great but his style is so not Twilight-ish, which makes me wonder what it sounds like! Does anybody agree with me?

It’d be great if he actually sang on his first ever released music. But just knowing its HIS music will make me happy.

Whoever mentioned evanescence’s song ‘my immortal’, I 100% agree with this. This is the only song I totally associate with the books, especially New Moon. If they don’t use this song in the New Moon movie, I’ll have a hard time bringing myself to watch it!

I would like to suggest Fly Leaf’s All Around Me for the New Moon soundtrack. Don’t get me wrong I like Evanescence’s however that CD is sort of old news! Another artist I’d suggest would be George Winston you guys should all go check him out, he’s one of my fav piano players of all time!
