Hello fellow Twilighters. As I write this, I have just gotten home from the advanced screening of Twilight here in Portland, Oregon. And I can say this. Loved it. I honestly loved it.
Now, in a few more words, I shall attempt to give you my review of the movie. This is not a typical movie review; it shall not examine the movie as a traditional movie critic would. I’m not a movie critic; I’m a movie viewer. And I’m a Twilight fan. So consider this your Twilight review – written by a Twilighter, for Twilighters.

An excellent review for twilighters! I’m glad to hear she gives it a 95% satisfaction rating! Guess I’ll find out for myself in 1 day, 13 hours and counting!

i’m glad this is a positive review. all i’ve read from any other place are negative comments on the film. it’s very disheartening.
now i can be calm about the movie ;]]

I also saw a screening of twilight last night. AMAZING. you must go see it!! I smiled the ENTIRE MOVIE! They did an amazing job trying to stay true to the book. EVerybody go see it 10 times!!!

I am a little worried about voice overs, though.
I don’t like them.
But, this is Twilight, so it’s COMPLETELY different!

Haha, I was kind of hoping they’d do voice overs. I mean, come on. Some of the best lines in the book are Bella’s narrative. I hope they use the irrevocably in love with him line…

Great review! I’m even more excited now! My friend also went to an advanced screening, and she was worried it wouldn’t be nearly as good as the book, but she said it was AMAZING and she absolutely loved it!
Arrgg, 2 days & 2 hours seems too long!
im so excited! and idc if its not exactly like the book bc you have to expect it and the book is cheesy and so the movie might be cheesy in some parts, thats fine with me!! ppl just need to remember not to go expecting great things out of it, or your not have fun!!! just be positive! Were lucky it even made it to the big screen! go twilight!

people were really worried about how the movie would have some weird parts.
but i thought they were wrong. Movies from books always have a new scene here and there but guess what? it’s STILL twilight.
like sara said, it will stay true to the book no matter what.
