» MTV has an article on Twilight making $7 million in the box office, just during midnight showings! Read it all here!
And Fandango is reporting some impressinve stats:
–Fandango has been selling 5 “Twilight” tickets per second, as of early Friday morning;
–“Twilight” takes the #3 spot on Fandango’s list of Top Advance Ticket-Sellers, surpassing the “Harry Potter”, “Pirates” and “Lord of the Rings” movies; “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” and “The Dark Knight” remain in the #1 and #2 spots, respectively.
» Variety is now reporting that the movie is set to make nearly $30 million on opening day alone. Read article here!

I hope they make New Moon…I’m going to go see Twilight today..and I REALLY REALLY WANT TO SEE NEW MOON..I MEAN THINK HOW HOT TAYLOR LAUTNER IS GONNA LOOK..but that’s not only what I care about..I’m a really huge big time fan of Twilight..even though I havent seen the movie..I have a feeling that I’ma love it!!…I know I’ma love it
i didn’t really like the movie. it was too rushed through out the whole movie and u could feel it as you were watching the movie. there wasn’t anything leading up to b&e falling in love either. but then all of the sudden, BANG! there wasn’t enough dialogue between the characters. it was okay. but i didn’t think it was anywhere as amazing as the books!

so even if they make 150 million or more from twilight they still might not make new moon? why……….i mean they are fetting bac reviews but alot of good ones……. catherine will know what to do for new moon……… this was the first movie. people need to give them a break. if new moon is made, then eclipse, and then hopefully breaking dawn!!!!!! but are they going to put new moon and eclipse together!!! i need answers!!! we need answers!!!!!!!!!

I hope the movie makes the money necessary to produce the rest of the Twilight Saga! I saw the movie last night and I am thrilled with the cast and directing. I will be going to see it one more time so I can enjoy the fantasy again!

the reviews are not gonna make you happy some reviews are saying the book was better than the movie and that the special effects are really bad too bad for them
so they are making new moon for sure!!!!! are they going to conjoin eclipse with new moon? if they do breaking dawn movie will come out faster!!!!! ineed answers!!!!!

i went to the midnight showing of the movie and it was great… but i went again right after school and i don’t know why but it was even better!! third times a charm:)!!
I loved the movie but not the audience…I’m definitely going to see it again when there’s no one there. :]] oooh edward!
excuse me, it wasn’t just “great” it was breathtakingly outstanding!!! no words can describe the amazingness of this moive!! ahh!! i am so happy that they are doing well in the box office!! CONGRATS!!

I just saw the movie today and it was fantastic! The cast was well suited for their roles and I can’t hardly wait to see the sequels and yes I am going to go see it atleast 2 more times because it exceeded my expectations! And it is definately #1 and worth seeing!
It was good for 498 pages to be squished into two hours, but I still think it could have been better. If you hadn’t read the book before you went and watched it, like my dad (haha, yes i made him watch it) , you were definately lost on some parts. But of course, I love the twilight series and am more than ready for New Moon to hit theatres!
I thought the movie left too much out! In the book Edward was more concerned for Bella being human and him vampire then they showed in the movie.
I just hope that they don’t leave so much out of the next movies. Yes, I hope there will be more movies after New Moon debuts because I think the best books of the series are the last 2. Although I did like reading Edward’s side of the story from the Midnight Sun preview. I can’t wait to read more of that! Write on Stephanie!!!! Thanks for the great reads!
omfg!!!!! the movie was awsome ,totally worth the waiting , i have to say they it was a little too short for me but hey it was a small production house so it wasnt a over the top movie with a big budget( you could tell jeje) but i get why they did it like that

the movie was AMAZING!!! I loved every second of it!!!! and i cant WAIT for NEW MOON!!! I think that if they tough it out, eclipse will end up being the best movie yet. I CANT WAIT!! AHH! the only thing that bothers me is how they keep saying that twilight has a “tween” fanbase… im 19 and im a hardcore twilighter… and all my friends love it. ill walk around school and see 9 or 10 twilight shirts a day. its not just the tweens watching twilight!!!!
