Rolling Stone has a new interview with Rob!
RS: How is the Twilight fandom is different from the Harry Potter movies? I think you’ve mentioned that the sound of the screams is even different.
ROB: It’s different because I think it’s almost solely females of a certain age group, and they have a very specific tone. It’s much more to do with the sort of sexuality aspect of it. So many girls made this guy [their ideal], so when they see you it’s like all of their energy is projected onto you. It’s a really strange experience. I’ve never been in an experience where people just want to touch you — it’s like being in a boy band.

ok this is off subject kindof… I’m friends with a couple of the guys from the band The Spill Canvas and they seem to be getting lots of twilight fans wanting to have their music in the upcoming soundtracks. What my Question is, Which song would you like to hear and in which movie? thanks guys! i will relay any ideas to them.
I think these screaming fans need to tone it down, sorry. I am a fan of the books and the movie – but you guys are just scaring him now. Nobody wants a screaming girl in their face.

That interview was AMAZING. It was the best one I have read so far (and I have read a lot.) The interview really made me see things from his perspective, which is interesting.

I agree with Trinkie, all of this screaming must be scaring the poor guy! Yes we love him, but everyone take a chill pill!! LOL
Yeah, he likes crazy (so he said) but I am guessing someone who doesn’t ask him to Bite Him and is over the age of 21 might actually get his attention. Oh, and who doesn’t scream in his face. LOL
