Rob’s recent haircut has seemed to cause sort of an uproar in the Twilight fandom! MTV and people would like to know what you think of his new look. Let MTV know here, and People here.
“Twilight” star Robert Pattinson is known for a lot of things, but first and foremost has to be his wildly styled hairdo that’s gotten Twilighters everywhere atwitter at the sight of him. So does hair make the man? That question will finally be answered, as Pattinson has decided to ditch his trademark locks in favor of a much shorter cut.

Um…how is he supossed to play Edward now? I heard from someone that he wasn’t aloud to cut his hair or anything because there couldn’t be any change from what Twilight Edward looks like to New Moon Edward…yeah…that’s in the trash. I don’t like it very much, personally.
I think it was getting to long for Edward. So I am glad he cut it so it has a chance to grow back out for New Moon. He still looks good to me.

It’s hair people, it will grow back. Personally, I preferred his hair in the movie not afterwards. It got too long when he was doing press for the movie. His nervous habit of running his finger through his hair is kinda sexy, but with his hair crazy long it would end up all over the place. There is a difference between having it styled, and just having it stand out at odd angles. At least now with it short he has no issues if he runs his fingers through it, and I doubt it will take him long to grow it out to “Twilight” length in time to start filming “New Moon.”

I would hate to have to keep my hair long just because someone said to. I bet he feels a ton better with it off. It will grow back. Guy hair grows FAST!

Uhh…people. It’s his hair. He can do what he wants with it. This shouldn’t even be an issue. “omg how will he play Edward??” It’s called a wig, people. Just like half of the cast wore. It’s not a big deal.
As long as Edwards hair is the same as in twilight I can live with RPatz hair for now!

Seeing how its only December I’m sure it will be back to “Edward-ish” but March for filming time…plus its not that short it not really a buzz cut if you look close, it could be shorter.

It’s a heck of a lot better than when it was all over the place. He wanted to cut it, so he cut it. Good for him. I know twelve year old screaming fan girls all over the world are crying right now because his hair is gone, but it’ll grow back. They don’t start shooting until March for heaven’s sake. And I think he cut it for a movie he’s filming soon.

hmm. this is a tough question. i love it both ways. i mean its still him everyone. its still rob but with less “sex hair”. i think he looks gorgeous both ways. my only concern is what about filming for new moon? will it be grown out by then? but either way hes still rob, and thats why i love him not because his hair.
I honestly love it. it makes him look older and more sophisticated. haha. I think he looks hot either way. :] Really i think his best quality has always been the jawline, not the hair.

I agree with you JMSBNDGRL. I petsonally loved his hair the best in the movie, because it was long, but not too long. (perfect length for Edward) I thought after the movie, it was just a little too long and wild, but still very sexy lol. It still looks really hot now and he has plenty of time to get it back to the “Twilight” length. Love ya Rob!!!

I’m an obsessive fangirl, but I still find it hilarious that Rob’s hair is headline news. Seriously, I wonder what he thinks about all of this “controversy.” For those worried about it growing in time for filming “New Moon.” I don’t think you have anything to worry about. There are lots of ways around that issue. However, need I remind everyone of the number of pages that Edward is missing from in “New Moon?” They could delay some of his scenes if they absoutely had to. Again I don’t think that will happen because that is what stylists are for, but it is an option.

IT’S A FREAKING HAIRCUT!!!! When there’s nothing really going on in the Twilight world everyone seems to bug Rob even more than usual. I suppose it’s inevitable seeing as his hair is “his trademark” but it’s honestly kind of annoying. I dig the cut though.

wow what a hottie! but i heard he cut for a film that he just finished and anyway Edward is in Italy for half of New Moon and only returns halfway through the story so it will grow back before Rob is needed for filming, and anyway Hollywood hair stylist can work wonders and give him a wig or extensions or something !
