i rather see rob in new moon than that movie he drooped out
so he can have time filming new moon

I would have liked to see Robert in this movie, it sounded very good. But I totally understand where Rob is coming from, it would be just impossible to film Parts Per Bilion and New Moon..

it would have been cool to see him in a movie other than the twilight ones, but better he drop out of ppb than new moon. good to see he has his priorities in order

like tami I really hope he’s not upset either.. i really bet he was looking forward to it.. (yeah… I know..) I won’t deny that I’m happy that he’s commited to NM.. but still.. this was almost like a really great opportunity to share the stage with higher class actors… I would have really hoped that somehow there would be a way around to make both of them.. the more Rob the better!!! oh well.. better luck next time.. i guess..

It’s ok though! That means he will have more focus on New Moon, and that he will put all his effort into it. I am very excited for New Moon! I can’t wait!

I have some speculations on this one…

*Could this have been promted by the fact he changed his look? Hollywood and roles are all about image, so maybe the unkept look he’ll have as he grows out his hair won’t allow him to play the part…?

*Maybe he wanted to step back and take some mental health time after his image has been saturated all over the media/internet. I don’t blame him! Plus NM & Eclipse being filmed back/back…. I love him to death and want him to stick around for a while, so maybe this was a good call.

Either way, we still have Little Ashes and How to Be- which he will be GREAT in. Summer House, I don’t think he’s in it enough to prove himself as an actor, but the other two– THOSE are the ones I’m dieing to see!!!

Hmm well it kind of sucks that something like new moon, that will help establish his career is kind of getting in the way of his career. Don’t get me wrong i would rather see him in new moon than any other film but thats just how i see it

I think the news is very sad… I see a lot of raw talent with the young actor and I know he just wants to prove himself… with films as this one he might have been able to do that… I still look forward to see his other projects coming up. I also agree with who said maybe he is taking so personal quite time for him. New Moon changes Edwards character so much that maybe this down time will help him re-engerize and focus not on on the part but on what it is he wants from his life. Remember to keep it simple. To smile and laugh when you can and stay close to people who love you and for the goofy nerdy corky guy you are. Good luck

At least he didn’t decide to drop out of ‘New Moon’ instead. That would have been a disaster…and some of you can’t always say that any movie he is in will be okay because not every movie he shoots will be perfect. We’re all thinking that because we love him.

And I agree with Angel. I was at a bookstore and I read a Life & Style Magazine and it said that ever since the change of director for ‘New Moon,’ a lot of the Twilight cast have been dealing with the pressure by hitting the party circuit and there was a photo of him drinking with his friends and he didn’t look good at all. It also said that for a ‘Pars per Billion’ business meeting, they could smell the booze on him and he looked extremely tired, so I hope that him dropping out of this movie may help him lay off some of the pressure.

The Fact that Rob has chosen NEW MOON over another movie is an awesome sing people! This raises more hope that they’ll do the rest of the series as movies! I am so FREAKIN EXCITED PEOPLE!!!!!!! THIS IS FREAKIN SWEET!
