Starting February 4th, Film Independent kicks off Directors Close-Up: Conversations on the Art of Filmmaking (formerly the Directors Series), and one of the panelists this year is Catherine Hardwicke! She will also have her cinematographer and editor on some of the panels with her.

The panels are every Wednesday at 7:30 pm at The Landmark Theater (10850 W. Pico Blvd.) in West Los Angeles.

Since 2002, this popular panel series, which continues until March 11th, will provide filmmakers and film lovers the chance to hear from the best indie directors and their collaborators.
