The rumor that was released earlier today is false according to Recordonline.com

A report tying Washingtonville film director James Mangold to the third installment of the “Twilight” saga “Eclipse,” has been called false by a studio official.

I like that this site posts rumors.. as long as they are labeled as rumors. SOME rumors turn into truth & i’d rather know the possibilities than know nothing at all.

That post about the director SAID that it was only a rumor and speculation.. so who cares? To me, more info is better, as long as its labeled as not definite.

Well you don’t know if they will keep Chris Weitz for the third movie because they haven’t decided anything on it yet.

I don’t think I would mind if Mangold was going to direct the third one. He has directed other movies that were good….like 3:10 to Yuma.

Okaayy but this doesnt mean they r gonna keep Chris Weitz
    which i thinks its ridiculous.
No offence but Summitt will b acting very stupid if they change director for a 3rd time.
if summitt changes directors again im gonna b SUPERRRR mad. not even kidding.

I’m glad that this site post up rumors because it lets you know what’s going on with other reports and what kind of gossip is buzzing around the twilight saga. I not one for much gossip but it does keep you informed about what possibilities we might face for the movies. At least twilighters.org let you know it’s only a rumor and confirms or denies them once it’s said and done.

Okay now for something completely off topic…..I was wondering if anybody else noticed while watching the Twilight movie how they put the twilight book cover into the movie. It’s in that part where Bella’s in the cafeteria and she making up her salad for lunch and Edward comes by startling her…she knocks over her red apple and Edward bounces it up into his hands perfectly and holds it just like on the front cover. So I want to know if anyone noticed it because I have heard no comments about it….and I want to know if I’m just crazy or what lol :P . I heard lots about Stephenie’s appearance in the movie and other things like that but not about the apple thing. if you can’t remember just look up the scene on youtube and if you noticed comment down below. Thanks!

    MANDY,
You aren’t crazy, the scene where Bella drops an apple in the cafeteria and Edward catches it, is totally in there. She drops the apple, he sticks his foot out, the bounces off of his foot and he catches it perfectly in his hands, just like the cover of the book. Perfect of course, because Edward is perfect. I really liked that they put that in there. I would guess that not a whole lot of people noticed because they were staring at Rob Pattinson’s face instead of looking at anything else.

Summit Entertainment needs to stop switching directors. I thought Catherine Hardwick did a PHENOMINAL job with “Twilight”. I think that Catherine should have been the one to continue with the “Twilight” Series movies. She is an amazing director.
