TheHDRoom.com has a new article clearing up some of the confusion surrounding the Twilight Bluray/DVD release. A lot is explained, so if you were confused at all, check it out here!
Here are the contents of the Twilight Special Edition Blu-ray Disc release which, by listing a New Moon teaser trailer, infer Summit will embrace BD-Live in the next month or so. The film will be presented in 2.4:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.

- Muse music video: “Super Massive Black Hole”

I can’t wait for the DVD
Um, actually, I heard it was only the Target and Best Buy DVDs-Which means Amazon, Hot Topic, and Borders ALL miss out
Actually, Walmart, Blockbuster and Amazon.com get it May 5ht-so they have to wait. But no mention of Borders or HT.
cant wait for the dvd but i dont know release date for the dvd in england yet does anyone have any idea????
for the dvd on amazon.co.uk its april 6th; I’ve pre-ordered it
but its not the blu-ray special just the 2 disk special. hope this helped. :]

BD Live with “New Moon” teaser
^what is that?!

BD-Live is just a menu within the disc that lets you do stuff, it requires your blu-ray player to be hooked up to the internet though.
BD Live with New Moon Trailer just means that the trailer isn’t in the disc, but you can download it via BD-Live
I will be getting both copies because my uncle has a HDTV so I will be watching the movie there as well!
the dvd comes out on 6th april in the uk
you can pre-order it on amazon, hmv and play and the 2 disc cost about £12.99

oh, and you guys.. the blu-ray is coming out in like april-may, so they will have been filming for a while before its released.. that explains how they will have the teaser

^ you dont need clips for the teaser – as the name implies it’s just a tease! it could conceivably just be a black screen and the words new moon gradually appears accompanied by suspenseful music/kristen stewart voiceover.
The New Moon teaser in not in the one that comes out March.
It’s in the special edition that comes out May 5th. So, by then they will almost be done with the movie.
How can you connect your blu-ray DVD to your computer?
I really hope I can still connect the DVD that comes out March on the computer and get the teaser from the one that comes out May 5th online.
Maybe it won’t be this complicated if someone puts it on youtube!

Stephen King On ‘Twilight’ Author: ‘Stephenie Meyer Can’t Write Worth A Darn’
LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Stephen King’s opinion may drive a stake through the heart of “Twilight” author, Stephenie Meyer.
In an interview with USA Weekend, the bestselling author compared Meyer with J.K. Rowling , the author of the Harry Potter series.
According to Stephen, “Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people… The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”
While Stephen may not be a fan of Stephenie’s writing, he understands the appeal of the series.
“People are attracted by the stories, by the pace and in the case of Stephenie Meyer, it’s very clear that she’s writing to a whole generation of girls and opening up kind of a safe joining of love and sex in those books. It’s exciting and it’s thrilling and it’s not particularly threatening because it’s not overtly sexual.”
He further explains, “A lot of the physical side of it is conveyed in things like the vampire will touch her forearm or run a hand over skin, and she just flushes all hot and cold. And for girls, that’s a shorthand for all the feelings that they’re not ready to deal with yet.”

People (and one website) are saying that the one that comes out March 21st IS going to have the New Moon teaser, but that is impossible even if they start filming around March 15th. If it is going to be in the DVD, then they are rushing things. Don’t get me wrong, I do want to see the teaser and the other trailers as soon as possible, but I want them to be good, not sloppy and rushed.
No, the Borders DVD is exactly like the two disc special edition, but it has the extra booklet and the sparkly photos and the cover is also different. But it does include everything that is in the normal DVD.
