Stephenie Meyer has broken a new record in Australia:
Copies of Breaking Dawn, the latest book in the four-part series, flew off Australian bookstore shelves at a rate of 19,800 copies each week during January, according to Nielsen Bookscan.
The previous record for January sales was held by The Da Vinci Code, with 14,500 copies sold in the first month of 2005.

OMG! thats soo awesome! when i bought the book, i didnt even know it was new.
I only saw that we were bought the last copy. It is soo cool! I have read it like 8 times now! and ive read eclipse 7 times, new moon 7 times and twilight 10 times!
I got all my friends hooked too.
My friends mum likes my because by taking her daughter to the movie of twilight , she started reading. ‘finally’ she described it. so i am welcomne there all the time.
I love the movie and ive seen it 6 times!

sometimes books are released at different dates in different countries, i think. i know when i was in england my fav british author had her latest book out, but it wasn’t due in america for another few weeks.

in australian mag “girlfriend” (march 2009 issue) kristen stewart and rob pattz are on the front cover – gorgeus as always!! and the rest of twilight gang are featured inside. so i usually dont say this but ppl here in australia get the march ’09 issue of “girlfriend”!
