Madonna is reportedly set to be involved in Twilight sequel New Moon.
The Material Girl hitmaker’s manager, Guy Oseary, will be executive-producing the upcoming flick – which is based on the novel by author Stephenie Meyer – and is keen to get the star on board for the project.
It is unknown to whether Madonna, 50, will either act in New Moon or sing for the soundtrack or both.

I think this is super cool. She is the queen of transformation! If she does have a role in New Moon, I bet its going to be super small so don’t even sweat about it. Most likely she is going to provide a song for the soundtrack which would be amazing. If she can provide the soundtrack with a classic slow Madonna ballad that would be a dream. By the way… she got asked to participate in New Moon by her manager, Guy Oseary, who was one of the producers of the first film.

I don’t understand why everyone gets so worked up about these casting rumors, I mean, you all know that in the end it won’t be true. I’m pretty sure Madonna hasn’t even thought of the part.
The same thing with the Jonas Brothers (AND Vanessa and all those other Disney kids). I doubt they just came out and said “We want to be on the New Moon soundtrack.” Obviously an interviewer must have asked them what they think about Twilight (because it is so popular right now), and if they’d like to be on the soundtrack, and they probably said “Sure, why not?” Would you want them to say no? That they despise the series? I don’t think so, so instead, they were polite and said they wouldn’t mind.
Of course, the media gets a hold of what they say, and twists their words around and makes it look like THEY asked to be a part of the movie. I just think it’s ridiculous.
