Robert Pattinson To Not Make Music For New Moon.

Contact News has an article on Robert Pattinson, who will not be making any music for the sequel New Moon:
Pattinson insists he’s now taking a backseat to rockers Paramore, who are penning the title track to the movie’s sequel, New Moon – because pursuing music professionally was never his intention.
He tells America’s OK! magazine, “I really didn’t want it to look like I was trying to cash in. Music is my back up plan.”

im the first comment….. anyway i think rob should do a song. his songs are really pretty and down to the soul.
doesn’t matter if it his his intention or not…he still makes beautiful music and should share it with us!

wonder what kind of song Paramore’s going to put on for New Moon, if it’s anything like Decode or I Caught Myself I’ll be very happy. But it is disappointing Rob isn’t going to sing/play for New Moon.
Im not surprised. I didn’t think he would do more songs anyways. The first time it seemed he was tricked/forced into it. Though its a shame, because his voice & songs are lovely.
I agree with “I have RCD” I just want paramore on it!
I don’t think Robert wants to be viewed as just another teen star trying to ” cash in” so do speak, I believe that he really just loves music. He truely enjoys just playing. listening. learning and singing music. For the pure reason of he just loves it. He isn’t about money or fame. I think if he could just act and do what he loves without the fame he would. There is soo much more to him then meets the eye. I believe there is a genuine simple guy at heart.

its like there is less of rob well a lot lesss in this movie. for starters hes gone for most of the movie and now hes not apart of the beloved soundtrack. how can i go on

That is a realy shame… To be blessed with so many talents and heve the opportunity to share them and decline.. i find robs voice unique and electifying.. i was looking forward to an album, regardless of whether it was connected to twilight or not. I understand that he may not feel he wants to be seen as “cashing in”, but who cares what others think… he should do what makes him happy (and me… i want more songs)…The upside is, he is onyl 22…i truly look forward to more music being release from rob in the future
