Celebuzz has an article that the much-anticipated Box Office showdown between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart has been called off:
According to a source close to Pattinson’s Little Ashes, the movie’s release has been pushed from March 27 to May 8. The March date was significant as it marked the opening of Stewart’s movie Adventureland.
The new May release means the two stars—who famously played lovers in Twilight—will no longer go head-to-head on their respective opening weekend.
“It was going to be fun, the little competition with the two films,” says the Ashes source. “But this gives everyone time to really give Ashes the attention it needs.”

Awesome I spoent over two years studing Dali and cant wait to see his story on the big screen and I truely cant wait to see the young actor put his teeth (so do speak) into this character. Great I idea to split the two movies we Twilighters love Miss Stewart and or course we enjoy Robert as well. Bravo we can give each movie of full attention

I’m sorry even though I love rob! I rather see Kristen’s adventureland movie because I just don’t like rob’s look in little ashes and I saw the movie online and I’m sorry I just don’t think it’s that good =/ but I a so happy he is actually getting box office attention for movies he is doing! =]

Why can’t they get gay men to play gay characters. My image of Edward is shot straight to hell with that picture of them making out in the street.
Charlene, it’s very difficult to find gay actors that will fit ALL the gay roles that are in mainstream films. I’ve seen Little Ashes and Rob Pattinson does a wonderful job of portraying Dali, and the openly gay scenes in my opinion are done very well.
Rob Pattinson isn’t gay, just like he isn’t a vampire (although it seems people would prefer the latter, which is a little bit fucked up).
