I think that New Moon will be better than Twilight because of the fact that Edward leaves, and Bella goes through such an emotional time. It builds up that sense of wanting Edward back in the picture, but then again, you want to see if the relationship with Bella and Jacob will take off. I love all the books, and so far, the movie. I know that no matter what the case, New Moon will definitely be a hit. Oh..and here’s just a shout out to Robert Pattinson; You are so AWESOME! Keep up the good work that you do. :]
I Think It’s The Fact That Edward Left And It’s A Lot More Exciting And That Jacob Is There For Her And My Favorite Part Italy
New Moon is better than Twilight because:
1. It introduces us to Edward’s imperfections and religious concerns (more depth for him)
2. It gives us full-bodied Jacob Black as a character, fleshed-out at last (more depth for him, too)
3. It tests the strength of Bella’s love for Edward (more depth for her)
4. It gives us more face-time with Alice, who is quite possibly the coolest Cullen of them all!
we get to meet Jacob more, and i’m looking forward to the scene where Jasper tries to kill Bella, TEAM JASPER!
I cant wait for the scene with the Volturi, i cant wait to see the emotions played yout on screen
The heartbreak that bella experiences after the romance of twilight is what can make New Moon better and it can also hopefully capture the magic of their reunion as the moments that got you hooked on in twilight book were not so in the movie.

it really is just a whole new story plot. and it has a lot of pain in it. You get to see really how much bella feels for edward, it wasn’t very convincing in the first movie, but once you see that pain, and if kristen portrays it just right, then it could have an outstanding outcome. Also, you get more of different characters that weren’t as important in the first movie, like jacob and alice. In the books, alica and bella have a true friendship, and it wasn’t really portrayed in the first movie, but should be in the second. I agree that it just deepens the whole story, not like other sequels of other movies where they just add a new story, this one is still expanding on the story and has a new twist in it , which will make it even better.

I also hope they do a better job at showing how connected Edward and Bella are, actually HEAR them profess their love and see how much they love each other. So much of their conversations and talks were done with music montages in Twilight that I think we missed HEARING them connect at all levels.
This love is EPIC, one that they can’t live without. We really need to have that shown to us.
Both books are unique in there own way. Twilight was amazing..book was better but to actaully see it ,it was intense. As for New Moon I think they should leave it how the book was and there is nothing they can do to make it better than Twilight cause all are great. Its the excitment of waiting for Edward to return and they shouldnt change the scenes with he and jacob alone because this bond that they make is very important through out the whole entire saga. It makes Both Eclispe and Breaking Dawn more interesting to read cause unexpected surprises happen. I think leave New Moon the way it is add nothing more or less..
Well for one thing, New Moon is very emotional and suspensful. After Edward leaves, the reader is really pulled into the story waiting for him to come back. But of course the main reason New Moon will be better can all be summed up in one word……

I would say that they should stick to the book as close as possible. The breakup, Edward’s voice in Bella’s head, Bella and Jacob working on the motorcycles, the cliff diving scene, etc.
I think its because theres more intensity and drama(eddy leaves bella, bella falls in love with j.b etc.) Its just makes it more interesting, plus there wasn’t exactly as much action in twilight that in new moon.
make sure rob pattinson knows tht edward gets softer as time goes on and he falls more and more in love with bella he is and will always be overally protective but he would do any thing for bella and he may be hard as stone but she is his 1 soft spot and she makes him less *grrrrr* and more *sigh*

Edward leaves, and then Bella starts a relationsjip with jacob, and then Edward comes back, Jacob turns into a werewolf(before edward comes back).
You get to see how Edward and Bella is without eachother and you see how impossible it is for them to truly be happy. Jacob plays a bigger part and you can see how Bella and Jacobs relationship truly is special. Is you read Twilight and then skipped to Eclipse you would never get the same respect for Jacob as you do in New Moon.
Easily the simple fact that so many movies are about falling in love and finding your one and only true soulmate, but not many movies show what happens to you when you lose them, possibly forever. New Moon is all about that feeling of incredible loss, emptiness and heartache that Bella feels for Edward. These feelings, which in the end, only make Bella’s and Edward’s love more binding and eternal.
And lastly, New Moon will be incredible, because of the wonderful character of Jacob Black, who genuinely falls in love with Bella and will do whatever it takes to help make her happy again. Oh, and who is also a werewolf!!
New Moon would be a better movie than Twilight because it would keep people on the edge of their seats.
New Moon is just a better BOOK than Twilight. There’s actual character development. There’s plot tension. We learn more about who the characters are; their personalities, their desires, etc.
New Moon will be better because we will experience a range of emotions never felt in Twilight. It completely sucks you in and is an interesting study of the human psyche….how is it that we as well as Bella find ourselves trying to forget the pain of Edward leaving by falling in love with Jacob. It’s also better because we see and feel the maturing of characters which becomes less “puppy love” and more intense adult love.
im not sure that it will be better, per say.. but def diffrent… it gives everything a diffrent twist… i cant wait till it comes out tho! =)
Well, to begin with we have WEREWOLVES, vampire royalty and porches.
For the romantic ones as myself, it’s a great opportunity to discover something more in edward and bella’s relationship. He leaves for her, to save her from what he is and his world, but what he didn’t consider was that Bella couldn’t live without him. That her love for him is as strong as his for her.
Of course, that the Jacob situations brings a lot to the plot :]
it will be awesome-sauceome bkuz of the werewolves and i think that more guys might come see it…but mebe not bkuz there isn’t THAT much action, not as much as in twilight.
But wait for eclipse! i reckon it will make the most moola bkuz it has A LOT of action in it, what with the newborns PLUS the werewolves!! and i think that more guys will DEFINATELY come see eclipse (when its out) oh yeah PLUS there is quite a lot of sexual tension in eclipse…and then there’s breaking dawn..but that’s another story for another time XoXoX

I would not say what about the book could make the movie better because as we all know, the books are amazing. However, i think it all comes down to the script writer and the directors knowledge of the books and their ability to put the complex story on film. I personaly believe that if they stick to the original story plot and do not change or add anything the movie will be fine. Also, i believe that if they stick to the original story plot, and do not skip around so much, that the movie will be less confusing for those who have yet to read the books.
It’s the deepened emotions that the reader develops from Bella’s situation that will makes the book New Moon better than Twilight. We feel the same depression, heartache, need, and excitement that Bella’s feels. Nothing compares to a book that can take you so many places and create so many emotions that you can’t help but to read it over and over again. When Chris Weitz puts this into film, we won’t be able to help ourselves every time we see the movie. We will feel everything Bella feels, and will be swept away.
I believe New Moon should capture the essence of Bella’s and Edward’s “tragic” love for each other. (I know there will be a lot of action, since she will mainly be with Jacob.) I just think the first movie could have been better if we could see and feel the connection Bella and Edward had. With that said… since this is New Moon, there will be more anguish and devestation of being apart. Let the EMOTIONS come out!!!

what makes new moon better? well-theres her bday party that causes the split. its not just about bella and edwards love now…theres the stuff with the werewolves that add an whole new dimension to the rest of the saga…and later we really see another world of vamps with the volturi-and its really awesome when edward and bella are reunited and their relationship is more the better because of it?…plus they for the movie they don’t have to add random bits of action cuz there already is some with bella’s deathrisks and trying to get to edward in time
It is deeper, more dramatic, it delves into very profound feelings of loss and pain. Not necesarily for teenagers only, we’ve also suffered loss at some time. Also, hopefully makeup and film quality will be improved making it much better visually too.

Show Edward tracking Victoria and Victoria getting the idea for the Newborn Army while in the south. It will set up the next movie. Of course the La Push gang very important but also in Italy where the Volturri are can’t wait to see Felix and Demetri or when Bella is at the Cullens and they have the VOTE..Huge part of the story line in the end…it help with the next movie….
Gotta keep the comical genius between Bella and Alice…love Alice….need to see the emotional torture the separation takes on Bella and the physical torture she goes through with it…Need to express or hear her thoughts more…we need to know what the Cullens are up to…good ol’ comedy needs to be incorporated ’cause there are lines in the book that are histerical between several characters that make you laugh your ass off….Just plain need more Bella and Edward – sorry Jacob – but truly can’t wait for last two movies when Bella and Edward get hot and heavy!!!!!
If they stay close to the book then it will make it a better film. The fact that the patients have already been introduced to us and now we get to see them develop. Plus we get a chance to see the volturi in action in Italy!!! As well as the uniting of bella and edward after all the heartbreak…

I know this is going to be an emtional movie….I’m sure I will cry. But I would like to see some smiling. I missed Edward’s crooked smile from the book. Maybe Jacob can make up for that.
Instead of shooting several scenes of Bella and Jacob talking, maybe they could shot the time in a progression of scenes for time sake.
Also, I want to see Alice drive the Yellow Porsche.

The name speaks for itself to those that are true fans of the books and movie. As long as they stay true to the book, the movie will be great but they do need to keep Edward in the picture besides the beginning and end.. yes, we don’t forget the voices, but maybe adding what he’s off doing in the interim would be good too. There’s a lot of physical and emotional changes in New Moon! Can’t wait!!!

I actually did not like New Moon that much, it was so draining to read. Not to mention the fact my dear Edward left me… I mean Bella! I liked Jacob, before he became a Werewolf. After he changed he was a real jerk sometimes, and sometimes he was still her best friend, but most of the time he just couldn’t get through his thick furry skull that he could never be with Bella. Bella could not ever put as much trust into Jacob as she did Edward. Because when Edward left, he took her heart with him. I admire Edward for his actions, it was all in love, but I also think it opened a door, that Jacob stuck his big, hairy foot into. But New Moon could be better though, because Edward’s mistake was a turning point in the series. It let Bella know just how much she could never live without Edward, Edward learned just how deep Bella’s feeling were for him, and Jacob, well for Jacob the end of New Moon just sucked for him. That’s how his life is though, suckish.
oh and I’m going to bawl my eyes out when he leaves. I did when I read the book…
Its not the book, its how the first movie was barely anything like the book, The book was better and the movie wouldve been better if it followed the book a lot better, hopefully the new director will make new moon more like the book…but maybe one thing that will make the movie better, aside from being more like the books, is that it’ll be more emotional than twilight…a gurantee that more than half the people watching will sob when he leaves (as long as they make it like the book ^_^)

I think that it is because the storyline and plot thickens and it leaves more suspense. Your wondering, why did Edward leave? Will he come back? and u just keep guessing and wondering about bella and jacob’s relationship and bella and edward’s relationship
Also, I heard that a lot of people want to keep Edward in the entire new moon, and that they were thinking of doing it. I LOVE Edward. But seriously. That would ruin the whole storyline and change too much. Add the voices, and maybe some flash backs and it’ll be perfectt
New Moon is definatley more emotional than Twilight, and i really like New Moon even though edward is out. Okay, the middle part really does suck, but the end definately made up for any lost material. I like how Jacob becomes the hero of the story, but dont get me wrong, im a total Edward fan, but jake really is a good guy.
The ending of New Moon definately one of the best parts of the whole series. And i love the whole Oh-bella-I-can’t-live-without-you-so-im-gonna-go-racing-off-to-the-Volturi-to-die. Yeah. Edward is a total gentleman, and i really love how much he devouts to bella. I mean, he basically damned himself to an exictance of pain, just so Bella could at least attempt to move on and live a human life. he can’t even think of bella without the urge to kill her, but his love and passion for her is just so intense that it overrides any desire for her blood. The end is my favorite part becuase Edward admits that he lied just to give bella a normal life!
And taylor lautner is a really good jacob, (by that i mean a totally HOT jacob)
So, even though new Moon is like really sad and slow without edward to fill the pages, i basically like the ending.

The thing that can make New Moon bigger than Twilight is that New Moon has so many good and sad parts to it and it also has friendship in it so i i think that will make New Moon bigger than Twilight and also that Edward leaves Bella and then comes in Jacob Black as the star of the movie.
I think first of all the best thing would be the fact that Jacob Black would be in the movie more. He is a very interesting character, and I just can’t wait to see his and Bella’s chemistry on camera. Secondly, I love the ending, whre Edward just arrives like a Hero yet he still isn’t the hero. It was an amazing ending in my opinion, where there the surprise of the volturi and Edward Cullen. I also can’t wait too see the mini fued between Jessica and Bella.

I think because it is a little more intense (when Edward leaves), the bond between Bella and Jacob….they really need to do an awesome job on the wolves though, especially when the go through the change. I would like for them to maybe show a little of what Edward does when he leaves. I really want Edward and Bella’s reunion to blow us away.
Twilight was about Bella and Edward meeting eachother and falling in love regardless of the fact that Edward is a vampire. But New Moon brings a wave of different emotions and expierences between the two of them which just makes their relationship that much more real and relatable. The emotion in the second book is so different so i dont expect the second movie to be better, in a sense, just different.
I think New Moon will be a fantastic continuance of the Twilight saga because it presents Bella with a choice, and she really has to search her heart. It presents the epic”Team Jacob/Team Edward” dilemna for fans everywhere as well. The angst will be very intriguing to see played out onscreen.
I think what will make New Moon better is that you’ll get to see the werewolves transform (hopefully) for the first time! And (if you like Jacob) you get to see Bella and Jacob’s relationship grow… I, myself, HATE him, so I was depressed while Edward was gone…
i think it has to do with all the emotional feel to the character of bella. also the ending is more dramatic.
In New Moon, you’ve come to understand how deep of a bond Edward and Bella had. You feel it every time she thinks about him and the whole gets bigger and bigger. Its a feeling that most people have or will feel at some point in their life. Maybe not to the extent of being careless and reckless. New Moon shows a side of vulnerability that you didnt see with Bella in Twilight. In a way, i find that Bella represents more a vampire in New Moon, pale and “dead inside”. I cant wait to see what’s Chris gonna do because i want to feel the same way i felt reading the book. Sad and at the same time hopefull for a happy ending. The scene where he leaves her will set the tone for the entire movie.
The scene where Bella is running to Edward as he is standing in the sunlight and he thinks he is already dead. The things he said seemed corny and unlike him. I would like to see the same scene but a change in the dialog between them. Maybe he doesn’t need to say anything at that moment while she is trying to push him out of the way. Maybe it could be non verbal on his part until they get in the Alley. Also definately would love to see what Edward and his family are doing while she is with Jacob during that part of the book. I would also like to see more of Jasper and his use of his ablility to calm people and manipulate their emotions.
New Moon goes beyond to typical teen love story and matures in to much more. It moves past the “lovey mushy” and in to a deeper set of relationships. I feel New Moon (and following books) holds more for readers who might be older and of another gender.
The emotional depth it will take Rob to portray loving someone so much you would do what is best for them, even if it means you suffer, and Kristen to play someone who has had their world pulled out from under them. Then the heartwrenching one sided love from Jacob to Bella and their heartwarming friendship. There is further development of all the relationships which will hopefully mean more depth to the characters and the movie.
New Moon will 100% better than Twilight. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen it 9 times in the theatre and I’ve ordered 3 different version of the DVD. But Hardwicke SUCKED as a director. The movie was choppy and contained WORTHLESS scenes like Bella in the kitchen with Charlie and the police station. What a waste of film. Chris’ film, The Golden Compass was STUNNING. Please Chris, work you magic on New Moon…
I think it will be better because
1.Jacob is in it alot
2.The plot and storyline is more interesting and adventrous
3.Way more dramatic then Twilight
