That can be a tuff question. I would say that if you are team Jacob, its because of the bond that grows between him and Bella! Plus the graphics with him transforming/transitioning into a warewolf!
There is also a great relationship that blooms between Alice and Bella.

In New Moon we get to see a closer look at Jacob, and the whole La Push pack. It’s also very emotional, which will help a lot of people relate to it. We get to feel Bella’s pain.
I think they should show Edward what he is doing while he is gone because he is gone for a while !!!!!!!!!

In New Moon, that characters go through great change, both physical and emotional.
Edward makes a great sacrifice to save Bella of her choice to be with him. Bella goes through a heartbreak that words can’t even describe (I know when I read it, it was emotionally draining just to try and put myself in her shoes, and imagine that agony). And Jacob, who changes from his height, to his confidence, to something more than just human, and becomes Bella’s sun in her darkest hours without Edward.
So, with that said, the next film will allow the actors to bring another level of emotion, dedication and power to the screen. And I, without a doubt, BELIVE they will do that and much more.
New moon sheds more light on how much edward loves bella and brings forth the conflict edward feels about taking bella away from her humanity.

There are several reasons why New Moon would be a better movie then Twilight. This story introduces new characters into the series and it is always good to see new faces. New Moon has more action than Twilight, and adds to the suspense of the story. Where else are you going to find someone jumping off a cliff, or going to Italy in order to die? New Moon may also be a better movie than Twilight because the audience gets a chance to know Jacob Black for who he really is, and not just how we portray his character. It is also a time to see the bond that grows between Bella and Jacob. This is important because their friendship is the key to the next two novels.
What would a love story be without someone’s heart being broken? New Moon will be a better movie because it gives us a chance to feel the emotions that Bella goes through and to recognize the hardships that true love can put us through.
I think it’s the fact that you meet new characters. you are introduced a whole diffrent group (Personally I love the Cullens) but it was nice to here about other peoples oppinion other than Edwards.

1.Well for one the movie has to be longer .
2. I want to see what Edward and the Cullens are doing show A little of Edward POV during the Break-up.
3. Bella and Alice- Friendship I want to see more of that we did not get the Friendship in Twilight and that plays a big part in the book New moon.

Bella goes through such a hard time without Edward, and her world gets much more complicated. I love how she literally has to hold herself together while he’s gone. IDK i guess i just like it because it creates way more emotion in the reader than Twilight did.

The love of Edward and Bella was put to the test and overcome the distractions, the distance and the Volturi
Bcuz it is the next on in the saga and it goes deeper into Edward and Bella’s (mine’s) relationship even tho he isnt present for the whole book/movie. It shows that Edward and Bella (me) really can’t b apart and if one died then the other one would to bcuz they just can’t live without each other. In the book Bella (I) was practiclly a zombie, or at least that is how Stephenie Meyer described it, when Edward left Bella (me). And when Edward thought that Bella (me) died he went to the volturi to b killed bcuz he could not live without Bella (me) existing. In fact, they (we) hardly even lived without each other when they (we) were apart. So that is how it is better, bcuz it goes further into their (our) relationship. And you can better understand Edward and Bella (me).
the developed relationship between bella and alice!! of course!! i love alice she is my favorite character (besides Edward) and i want to see Ashley Greene flex her talents in the role.
OH AND THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER AND BETTER AS THE SAGA GOES ON, ALTHOUGH NEW MOON IS DEF. NOT MY FAV.
it has a greater effect on the reader’s emotion, and has a great effect on the whole turn of how the rest on the saga flows, making Eclipse and Breaking dawn go much more conflict involved. although many might dislike it a bit, because that’s where Edward leaves, but it’s the book where every small detail turns bigger as the saga continues. it highlights the development of Bella’s and Jacob’s friendship, and the harsh turns of Edward’s leaving affects Bella’s life. Twilight is where it all begins, but New Moon is where everything goes twisted and mangled up, changing the rest of Bella’s life story for the best and worst. New Moon is where all the love triangles and werewolves come from. it is where Alice and Jacob become greater characters, rather than just “being there”.it strengthens Edward’s and Bella’s love, and in a way, stretches Edward’s “physical relationship” rules, but only shows up in Eclipse. when they said “nothing will ever be the same” as some sort of logo for Twilight, well, it’s true, but that logo could also be showed for New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

Maybe New Moon’s plot will be easier to stick to. It felt like Twilight’s plot got all messed up in the movie. How about going more with the book instead of changing things needlessly!!!
I think that what could make New Moon a better movie than Twilight is the twists in the story. Twilight introduces you into the story and the world around it, but New Moon takes the story and world around it and completely flips it upside down. You get to see the characters’ vulnerability and their ‘human’ qualities and how fragile they all really are immortal or not. Also the intricate relationships built between Bella and Edward, Jacob, and Alice (respectfully) and how each of those depends on the other relationships being there
I too hope they show Edward even after he leaves so that the viewer knows that he is still a big part of the story and Bella hasn’t forgotten him. I am also excited to see how well Kristen can feel Bella’s pain (which she will cuz she’s AWESOME!!!!!!) I am on Team Edward so I don’t like it when he leaves
it would be a better movie if done well, if all the important aspects in new moon are there and the important aspects that will follow in eclispe are there then that’s why it would be better than twilight. twilight set the foundation of Edward and Bella’s love for eachother, New Moon tests that love and shows how niether of them can never live without eachother. that’s what would make New Moon better, the whole time Edward doesnt leave Bella’s mind and Bella never leaves Edward’s heart. In the end they realize that they need eachother to survive, then eclispe comes along and well…we all know that story =]

I’m a Team Edward so i would say their LOVE for each other became stronger!Even though Edward told Bella that he doesn’t like her anymore and that he wouldn’t appear to her again,Bella didn’t give and even do stupid stuffs to hear Edward’s voice..It just proved that their love is really true and even distance can’t break it apart
and ohh,I hope they put more Edward scenes when he’s away but to also follow the book!!
new moon relates to most of our human feelings. in twilight it was more focused on the vampires. but in new moon it really shows how hard it is to breakup. it opens a brand new sensation to some, and it is very easy to relate to. besides, we get to see italy!

i dont know if it will be a BETTER movie but i think all the drama that goes along with new moon will make it a really intense movie. you see the growing friendship of bella and jacob [LOVE JACOB] which sets all of the drama up for Eclipse. and then of course the end when she saves Edward is one of my favorite moments in the Twilight Saga.
there are a lot of reasons new moon will be good, it gets ppl to know jacob, and many of the fans can relate to bellas pain. but then it also shows how much edward really loves her. and etc.

New Moon brings up a character who you either love or hate, You begin to see Bella falling for someone else, and you begin to see her emotional stress and how she fights with herself to do the right thing

I think it’s the fact that Edward loves her enough to leave & doesn’t fully comprehend her love/reaction from his departure. Bella’s character grows & we finally get to see that Edward is “human” enough to come back to her & admit he can’t live without her. It makes it a more believable love story with some turmoil in it. Plus I think the Volturi scenes are going to be amazing on screen. I can’t wait.
The actors are really going to have to dig deep within themselves to reach the emotional level Meyer’s bought to this story.
Falling in love is easy-like falling. Breaking up feels, well, like you’re breaking. Aside from Pattinson having to show a darker side, the real challege,in my opinion, will be for Stewart who will have to capture what it feels like to lose your true other half.
um, no offense, EDWARDLOVER!!, but isn’t that referring to eclipse? the whole fighting with herself part is in eclipse, and everything…….
I think that it’s the relationship between Bella and Jacob but don’t get me wrong I LOVE both Edward and Jacob! I SWITZERLAND! And not only that but because I want to be able to see more of the “La Push gang”!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYYA!!!!!! =)
Everyone always makes fun of Twilight because it is so corny. Whenever I tell people that I am obsessed with a book about a vampire who falls in love with a human, they look at me like I have no taste at all. That is where everyone is wrong! Twilight is more than just a silly teenage girl who falls in love with a freaking sexy vampire who wants to suck her blood but loves her too much, but people just don’t see it unless they have read the series. New Moon is more serious and more realistic (apart from the where-wolves) and people can take it more seriously because it is sad. New Moon is NOT so mushy gushy romancy like people would expect the whole series to be, it has edge and deepens the characters and the story.

I think that because the characters are already developed and the shock of the whole “vampiric love” thing is over (for all nontwilighters of course) not the film can become a little bit more artistic. Perhaps it can be a film that both sexes can enjoy more because the main part of the book focuses on friendship not romance.
This movie will show how much a person may go crazy or depressed about another person he/she loves . Bella sufferes so much that she could hear edwards voice??? Hellooo….. = INSANITY! Thats when Jacob (hottie puppy) brings life, happiness and sexxxxxy back! I love Edward, but Jacob turned me on in this book…his warmness and sillyness makes me go ….. Whhooohhoooo!
in new moon, u truly realize how much edward loves her. plus a huge conflict erupts. u start to realize that jacob really likes bella and u hav a feeling that bella may like him too.
1. Pay attention to continuity, it makes the film less sloppy.
2. FOCUS on the powerfull relationship that develops between Bella and Jacob. Show how he become her sun, her new life…show the agony/pain Bella is in becauz of Edward.
3.SPECIAL EFFECTS GALORE w/ the wolves shapeshifting scenes!
4. Elaborate on the Bella and Alice relationship

part of the experience in reading New Moon was the sadness I felt when Edward left
I could at least relate to Bella on a certain level because I love Edward Cullen! I was flipping the pages faster than lightning trying to see when Edward would return or any sign of what he might have been up to! I was going insane, just like Bella
Part of the story requires a bit of empathy- people can really get into sync with the story and understand it on a much deeper level when they are feeling the same emotions and the protagonist.
If the audience to the New Moon movie knew where Edward was and what he was doing and that he really did still love Bella and planned on returning, it would totally ruin the whole movie! We would not be able to experience the same mystery, confusion, depression, and overall heartbreak that Bella feels throughout the whole movie!
I know it is extremely sad not to see Edward, but it is for the best.

I think that i t New Moon they should follow the BOOK a little more than just making up stuff, examples from Twilight Movie:
1) There was NO climbing trees in the BOOK
2) In the BOOK Edward was 10x more protective of Bella than in the movie.
3)The whole thing with humans being killed by ‘the james crew’ while Edward and Bellaare falling for each other never happened.
4)In the movie Edward NEVER hummed the lullaby to Bella when that was a VERY big thing in the book.
Those are the big things I can think of now, but I am not saying the movie was bad, I would just like it to follow the BOOK more! Same with New Moon! Good Luck filming

I was not a big fan of New Moon until I read it twice (like most people, I stressed over Edward sacrificing his happiness to keep Bella safe). The second time I realized how good the movie version could be. I found I liked shy Jacob who would become Bella’s secret protector from Victoria as his “crush” grew to hope that she might return his feelings. I hope they show not only the action involved with the wolfpack, but the range of emotions that all the main characters have and how their lives are entertwined through Bella.

Oh, I don’t know Italy. The end. Well since the first movie did not show half of the relationship, it would be nice if they could show Bella and Edward actually in love. It will be a challenge since Kristen Stewart can’t finish a sentence without stuttering. All of the good scenes were cut out of Twilight. I’m sure they are going to make more of the Jacob/Bella thing than was in the book. Oh, go ahead and tell me it’s not the book. Anyway, i guess MORE ALICE!! If we can’t have MORE EDWARD.

We will be stuck on that love, and despite the attachment you get with that love, it will be nothing new, so I think the growing of Jacob, the temporary break up between Bella and Edward, makes their love and their history even more passionating…

I think New Moon will be better because anyone who walks in to see it , even if they haven’t read the book, will be able to relate to it. We have all been in Bella’s position before. Also, there will be new characters, more action, and a lot more Jake.

So don’t try to spare my feelings, please–just tell me now whether or not you can still love me, after everything I’ve done to you. Can you?” then Kristen should reply, “The way I feel about you will never change. of course I love you–& there’s nothing you can do about it!” Rob(edward) replies, “Thats all I need to hear.” then he kisses her passionately and she kisses him back, for like idk how long lol..but yea! that part was so emotional and tense..I LOVED IT!

Further… they are risking the entire movie series if they don’t include Edward. The first movie lacked the conversations between Edward and Bella. The meadow scene was wrong, the bedroom scene was wrong, the venom angel saving her life scene was soooooooo wrong and the hospital scene was…well i have no idea what that was.
i think its because its more suspensefull because you want to know if edward comes back. and if edward comes back does she choose jacob, or does she choose edward?
to keep it close to the boook. veryy close to the book, and although there is nothing you can do about it, but PRAY that kristen and taylor have good chemistry.

i think that new moon will be a better movie than twilight because while edward is gone from bella , theyre love only grows greater… even when bella knows there is no way edward will ever come back to her because he said they would never see eachother again, she loves him more and more everyday and wants to see his face more than ever. so when edward goes to try and kill himself because he believes shes dead, it shows the unconditional love for eachother and then she tries to save him in volterra, that was the best part of the book, which shows even more of their unconditional love for eachother!!

i feel that new moon is better than twilight because its more about selfessness….that loving someone so much that your happieness or you health isnt important…the only thing that is important is the health happiness and safety of the one you love….sure bella wasnt happy when edward left and neither was edward..but he left out of love he honestly felt that his leaving would but bella out of danger and make her happy in the long run….he was very wrong but that love and act of selflessness is what i love best about new moon…also bella risked her life for edward….even though she didnt think he loved her anymore she still loved him…she thought her life was less important than his
I believe that New Moon will be a better movie than Twilight for many reasons. First off, it displays a lot more emotion than in the first book. So much stuff that is pivitol to the rest of the series happens in the second book that proves it to be very important. Also, the character developement from human to werewolf is very interesting to see. I think it shows the variaty Stephenie has and also the intensity of friendship. It also give Kristen Stewart room to act farther into her ability with all the emotional scenes she has to do.

The love for Bella and Edward is already set mostly. Dramatic things make girls hang on to the edge of their seat and ball their eyes out. (personaly, I didnt cry once in Twilight but like 5 times in New Moon). Also there are more charcters involved and by Bella hanging out with Jacob, it only shows how much more of the relationship between Edward and Bella. Also theres werewolves i it, can’t go wrong with that!! No more Catherine Hardwick!

Stick to the book as much a possible
Honestly:
– The main reasons I loved New Moon was how real and horrible Bellas pain was when Edward left, it really showed just how much she loved him.
– The previous reason would make me hate New Moon if it weren’t for how completly and utterly perfect is was when Edward came back, and you as the reader just sort of knew that they would never seperate again and that now they both really knew how life or death important they are to eachother.
When they make the movie I really don’t want them holding back, I want them to be extremly intense with the characters feelings just like the book.
I think that New Moon will not make a better movie altough it does have its twist.In the end I still LOVE the twilight saga.
I think that they should go more in depth in important scenes. That wasn’t fully done in twilight.
Twilight was a great movie, but left out a lot. I think that new moon should top it, and continue to make this series even more amazing.
It’s very important that the movie follows the book, so I would say to follow it carefully. -Knowing that you can’t have every scene in there, leave out the less important ones, to save room for the very large ones. That take a great deal of care.

i think that twilight will be better, but i may be biased since i am so team edward after BD (Breaking Dawn), but new moon could be better because of how empty most people feel after edward leaves. Also you wonder how will bella make it thru this? When you meet jacob the emptyness is almost filled, but you start to learn about jacob and the othe quileittes and soon find that bella is coming between a (sparkling) rock and a (120 degree) hard place

First off, I love Twilight better than New Moon. But Eclipse and BD are my fave. Anywho, Twilight was awesome, but with new effects and a new director I think the movie could be better.

5. Show emotion. when Edward leaves her, its like having your only one, your only life, your only reason for living has left you, and you cant do anything about it.

I believe it will be a better movie than Twilight because when Edward leaft Bella the reader’s were able to feel the pain she felt also.Seeing this side of Bella in the movie will really show the true love that is between Bella and Edward.
But the main reason why I think it will be better is because there will be way more Jacob Black[Taylor<3]. I love Edward but there is just something in the way he’s able to help Bella during this really dark part of her life that just made me fall in love with him more.
It will be better because there is going to be more Taylor(Jacob) than Rob(edward) in New Moon.
In New Moon Bella and Edward are devastated by their separation. Going on with their lives alone is almost unbearable. The love they have for each other is beyond description. The book is heartbreaking and the movie will be agonizing to watch. Thank goodness for the happy ending. I can’t wait to see Rob and Kristen travel through the huge range of emotions needed to bring this story to life
This is just a random thought, kinda off subject, but has n e else made the connection that Jacob doesn’t really love Bella in that way? The love connection that they feel 4 each other is actually bcuz of Nessie. So it really wouldn’t make sense if they ended up 2gether. I’m just saying, u know putting it out there.Team Switz!=]
I think what will make new moon better than twilight is how edward leaves bella (which is horrible…but) and how jacob and bella form this friendship.The volturi is also going to be introduced. There will be alot more of action in new moon when bella has to go to italy to save edward.
The emotions that New Moon instilled in me while reading it were like none other I have experienced while reading a book. You could feel Bella’s pain, and loved that Jacob was trying to put her back together. At the same time, all you can think about is “where are the Cullens?” Please bring them back.” As soon as Alice shows up again there I felt a noticeable relief, and I think Bella felt that way too. You get to know more characters much better in NM. Jacob is revealed as a werewolf, and the pack is introduced. NM makes Eclipse and BD what they are. The rivalry begins…how will it end? Lots of suspense and more action will make NM a better movie. Hopefully better special effects will also help it surpass Twilight. I can’t wait.
I think that Bella and Jaccob will need a stronger connection because in twilight they werent that close as they were in the book but other. If they also put in the parts that are suppose to be in there from the book it will be better and where things are suppose to happen like twilight had scenes that were not in there and some scenes that were in the wrong spot.

- i think the pain we see and heartbreak will be really good. not that heartbreak is a good thing, But i think it will be a little cool to see bella break and then be re healed again when edward returns
- taylor lautner is REALLY hot, so more of him is deffinately a plus.
- A better friendship betweeen alice and bella, because its important to the story.

haha, but i also think it’s going to be better because of all the new intense scenes like the cliff diving and the porsche stealing and volterra and those types of things…
i just want it to be exactly like the movie. a teeny bit more edward tho. lol. TEAM EDWARD!!!!

Well, first of all, it’s a bit of a change. It’s not Bella and Edward the whole time. We get to see more of Jacob and learn more about him. He’s not just the kid in the background any more. We also learn that it’s not just vampires that roam among us. The whole Vulturi and Italy thing is pretty cool, too.
And, of course, I’m really looking forward to seeing Jasper (who is one of my favorite characters) not just look like a pyscho, but get to totally act like one.
I dont know if I would say it will be better all the movies will be unique in there own way. What makes NM unique I think is the fact that it isnt the traditional love story.
Bella gets dumped and she is heart broken but she has an unusual friend that helps he through it. But what I think makes it really unique is that Bella saves Edward.
I love NM and I know it will be AMAIZING!!! I am sooo excited I think this is the most excited I have ever been to cry lol!!
The movie should be able to show a deeper, more emotional bond between the characters. (Ex. the physical pain and heartache Bella experiences when Edward leaves; the friendship that forms between Bella and Jacob; the urgency to reach Edward in Italy before it is too late; and the reconfirmation of the love between Bella and Edward.)
Also, having a darker side with the scenes in Italy….showing the danger that exists for Bella and Edward – and for everyone that they care for.
It would be great to show what is happening with Edward (and the Cullens) while apart from Bella. Working in some of the “outtakes” and “extras” that were cut from the book (you can see them on Stephenie Meyer’s website).
The raw emotion that we see and feel in new moon is just so heart-wrenching and real. I can honestly feel the pain Bella feels when Edward leaves.. It’s just so explicitly heartbreaking that it’s hard to describe. So I’m really excited to see Kristen and Rob capture the essence of that pain and heartbreak, specifically Kristen. She’s an amazing actress so I’m confident she’ll be able to pull it off.
I’m also excited for Jacob’s scenes! I’m definitely Team Edward, but I still LOVE Jacob and I’m excited to see what Taylor can do with one of my favorite characters.
The reunion in Italy is also another exciting scene… when Bella slams into him right when he’s about to walk into the sun… The emotion there is pretty intense as well, especially Rob’s/Edward’s part. The fact that he thinks he’s dead and all that..
So I think I’m just excited in general for my favorite book of the four to be translated onto the big screen! :]
The fact that the plot will complicate a lot and that by the end Edward and Bella’s relationship will have revolved so much. Also, WE GET TO SEE EDWARD SHIRTLESS MORE! Ha ha. We also have a new director that apparently knows a lot in the special effects area so lots of cool werewolf stuff. A bit more Jacob for Jacob fans and the cool scene in Italy.
