I was watching that and I totally freaked out on my family and made them rewind like a million times!
he is my new favorite just because he told Ryan that he loves the books AND the movie! 
yea i dont see the rob in him either but he got a whole 10 second conversation of twilight on AMERICAN IDOL which has like 30 million viewers so yay!!

He is SO not Edward Cullen like. In fact, it seems like Edward Cullen and Rob Pattinson were insulted.
But I guess all the Twilighters watching this, like what Kellan fan’s said, must be screaming at the top of their lungs like those girls in that theatre. Even I was shocked and laughing. LOL

ugh, i just finished watching and i’m so pissed! that guy is the exact opposite of edward AND rob and it irritates me that he’s going to get a ton of votes now just because twilight was mentioned. these books are my life, but really?

i think the only reason randy mentioned twilight/rob was because of the CURRENT issue. adam lambert is in a different league from rob/edward. so please don’t say it’s an insult to either one.
He’s a good singer but nothing like robert… robert is MUCHO MUCHO BETTER

last2right, randy just mentioned rob cos he was RELEVANT. didn’t you hear the clip. not that he looked like a vampire, or sang or anything like rob. it was because adam and rob were both CURRENT, like steven tyler, fall out boy and the others randy mentioned.

NO, He WASN’T comparing LOOKS, yo. He was talking about the SINGING. Being as American Idol is a SINGING competition. Wow, talk of singing on a singing competition show? Frackin’ AMAZING! *Sarcasm*
I saw it last night and I FREAKED when I heard Randy say Rob Pattinson from Twilight. It perplexed me also, so, I had to rewind it and listen again. *NOTE: RANDY SAID IT WAS LIKE A MIX OF STEVEN TYLER, FALL OUT BOY AND ROB*
So, while I was listening the second time, I could DEFINITELY hear an undertone to Adam’s voice that has the Rob draw to it. If you have no idea what I am talking about, listen to it again and focus on the underside of the notes Adam hits. At least the lower ones. It’s got that soulful long draw that our lovely Robert has to his voice.
So, I repeat, it was NOT about looks. Got it? Awesomesauce. Think about what I said and listen to it again with that in mind, and you’ll see what Randy was talking about.
Oh and P.S. I love Adam Lambert. He’s AMAZING.
And he was in Wicked in Hollywood and I totally saw him in it. Unbelievable talent that boy has. S’truth…

i totally agree with Hannah and CC and the others.
What Randy was talking about is that Adam’s singing and his persona a very modern in way that he will attract a lot of the fans that are drawn to those he mentioned, Rob included.
I think it’s totally true, there are definite undertones to the way he was singing where, if he were to sing a slower, more bluesy song, i think we would hear that rob-esque(?) vibe. and i think that his whole celebrity had this possibility to be very reminiscent of what was seen with Steven Tyler, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance and Rob, where he would gain TONS of fans all at once and they would be completely devoted to him.

Anyway I just wanted to show my support for my friend Adam! I love him with all my heart and I will vote for him!!!! I met him while he was in Wicked in LA and he is seriously the nicest guy in the world and he remembers his fans. He is great and a fan of Twilight!!!

I LOVE ADAM! when he didnt win i was like….BOO! and when mcr, fob, and robert pattison were mentioned by randy jackson i was SO SHOCKED. i was just staring at the tv with a smile on my face. fob is okay but mcr and twilight are…unexplainebly awesome!
