The LA Times talks with Kristen Stewart about the upcoming movie and about her two new lovers in New Moon.
“I’m looking forward to all of the new aspects of the movie,” she says.
“A lot more introduced, like the world of the werewolves is coming alive. The second movie is much more quaint. Edward [Robert Pattinson] leaves her, which is interesting, considering since the first movie is based on their devotion to each other.”
“So to see them cope without each other and to see this character Jacob, who is supposed to represent light and warmth and he pulls her out of a rut that’s like seemingly impossible — it’s really tragic. Like, I can’t wait to see Taylor’s [Lautner] face when I tell him, ‘It’s him, it’s always been him,” she says with an audible shiver.

haha. i am glad that they are finally starting to shoot. and i think that the cast has such good chemistry. i think new moon will be much better than twilight (even without edward)

When she says she can’t wait to tell Taylor “It’s him. It’s always been him.” Is the ‘him’ Jacob or Edward? I figured it’s Edward but I’m confused =\

Crystal AKA Leah…I looked around and it seems that the him is Edward. Like I said, I figured it was, it just fits with what Bella would say. But the way Kristen said it had me confused.
The “him” IS Edward, it’s in the book. I will be SOBBING in the theater when she says this & EVERY OTHER time she breaks Jake’s heart!!!
I’m sad just thinking about it. He is SO loyal to bella, so devoted. Time and again he proves this. While I understand that Bella & Edward are soulmates, I couldn’t help but wish she had chosen Jake. He always wanted her to be safe…to live. Does anyone else understand or agree with this??? The scene in Eclipse when she kisses him and imagines her life with him and their children, I nearly shouted out with joy!! Ok sorry, I’m done 
I love the fact that Kristen has a clear understanding that the love story is between Edward and Bella. Although Jacob plays an important role in their story it will always be about Edward and Bella. That “it’s him, it has always been him” line is very bittersweet. I’ll be crying for sure. Kristen totally gets the heart of the story and I can’t wait for New Moon.
i hate it how edward leaves bella. and how she just leaves jacob there and goes back with edward. after all jacobs done for her. OMG im going 2 cry soo much!!

I am totally Team Edward all the way and I am so glad that in the end she chooses him. I will however be crying in the theater when Edward leaves. But no offense to any Team Jacob fan I am going to have to laugh when she leaves him and goes back to Edward. I will just be so happy at that point of the movie.
