OMG I didn’t realize who he was until I started to read some of the comments here…I loved him as Lucian in Underworld…I think he will be awesome as Aro and would be great at any of the nasty Voltouri clan…I hope we get a 5 million dollar performance out of him…a bit pricey?…I think he will be just nasty and sly as Aro…can’t wait!

I absolutely hate this choice as Aro. He is nothing like what I pictured Aro to be. But hopefully he will do a great job and I will learn to love it.

I was just thinking a couple days ago that he should really be in these movies and then i was thinking about who should play aro AND OMG HE IS ARO!! haha

if he does as well as he did in underworld WHOA he will do good in this

he is perfect for this cant wait to go to the midnight preimer of new moon

This is EXACTLY what I feared. I don’t think the new director has any faith in the actual book itself. He continues to believe he needs to bring in big names in order to spur an audience. The first movie was pulled together with a bunch of no names and gathered $70 mil in the first weekend. Now he’s paying this actor (not saying he’s a bad actor) $5 mil pounds for a 15 minute part. WT_?!!! The story line is going to sell the movie, the fan base alone (growing bigger and bigger daily) will bring about millions in the first weekend. It is an insult that Dakota Fanning and Michael Sheen are even needed to get attention. Sorry but I’m absolutely irritated. Not to mention the massive age gap in Aro & Caius… they were supposed to be similar. To be the vampire mafia, the Volturi should be more mature like Mr. Sheen and not still posess the baby face of a teenager.
