Each and every generation has a new crop of teen stars and starlets with their omnipresent gaggle of screaming fans but one wrong career move in an attempt to grow as an actor and those same youthful idols just might find themselves permanently out of the spotlight and off the map. Truth be told, the teen idol to serious actor transition is nearly impossible to pull off. For each successful Leonardo Di Caprio, there is a disheartened (and increasingly desperate) Corey Feldman. While some manage to choose wisely and, in some cases, build themselves critically-lauded and lengthy showbiz careers, the majority tend to be relegated to short nostalgic segments on “What Ever Happened to?” and “Where are they now?”

I picked rob because he is a better actor than kristen will ever hope to be. And I’m not saying that just because I love rob. I’m saying the truth. In all the movies kristen has ever done, she brings the exact same person on the big screen. And also, she blinks a lot. I DO like kristen, but I don’t think she was good enough to be Bella…that is unless the twilight crew were desperate, then that’s a different story. this is MY opinion, but you have to admit, that it’s the truth.
*and by person, I mean to say that she brings the exact same character in every movie she acts in…that’s the whole point of being an actor/actress, bringing different characters alive. I mean, I love rob, but even I have to admit that he’s NOTHING like Edward. He’s a bit more down to earth. And have you seen him as Salvador Dali? DAMN, that guy can ACT!
I think both Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will do just fine after twilight series
They both seem to be very talented and smart . I’m sure they will make great choices for their career. just concentrate on
work not hollywood lifestye.
i agree with mel. they were already great actors before twilight, they now have the chance to broaden their acting skills and for it to be publicized on a large scale.
rob and kristen will be fine to echo mels statement as will the rest of the actors who portray the cullen family
i think kirsten becouse she is in alot of movies and is hot so with that rob too
I think Kristen Stewart is an excellent actress.She has a style of acting that remind me alot of Clint Estwood.Henry Fonda, Jodie Foster, etc. They are so
good sometimes you forget they are acting.
I like the quiet eleglance and calmness

i agree with jaclyn on the fact the most ppl are only voting for him cuz they think he’s hot (which isnt true. he’s cute at best :p) i think kristen is awesome. she was AMAZING as Em in adventureland
I voted for kristen because i think she is a good actor. alot of my friends dont like her but honestly if i was by a super hot vampire i would act alot worse than her. and robert is also a really good actor. Zac efron is really good too but i dont like him enough to vote for him.
i voted for Rob because I think he can pull off a lot of rolls. i mean, well first, Edward is a very complicated character and in the books we only see him through Bella’s perspective, so molding that character would be really difficult and I think Rob did it in a way were he made Edward a character relatable to everyone’s idea of their Edward they imagined, and that takes a lot of skill. He’s really versitile and can change his look really easy which is a big key, you could never type cast him.
I agree with ROBSESSEDTWILIGHTFANPIRE on that Kristen isn’t who i picture the best actress, but she is what I pictured Bella to look like and she did ok in twilight, and also what you said that her characters are always the same on screen. Her best film i think was the Messengers, that took a lot of emotion which she could use more often. But yeah I voted Rob because you can mold him to any character a script can handle and he’s not a pain in the butt to work with which is another key in the industry.
i picked kristen she is a realy good actor and yea i kno rob was up there 2 but i kno that all the twilight girls picked him so my vote didnt even need to be there for him lol lets just say its in ther in spirt lol

My Point: There’s no need to vote for something that is already happening (current successful acting careers for K+R), OR rip the one you didn’t vote for to pieces. Come on now!

I freaking LOVE that picture of them. They almost look like brother and sister though, their features are so similar. I think they BOTH have a very long career ahead of them.
I think Rob will go on to have a very good career. He’s good looking enough but also has that weird look to him…like Johnny Depp when he made Edward Scissor hands. I really think he”ll go far and get even better as an actor.

I voted for Rob and not because he’s gorgeous but because I truly believe he’s a great actor. He definately doesn’t go for safe roles and he worked hard at making Edward perfect when everyone was doubting him. I really hope he keeps it up – he could be an absolute star!
