The words “casting couch” immediately spring to mind when you hear the concept of a new German reality show: 12 young actresses compete for a role in a Hollywood production.
But “Mission Hollywood” is no joke. The show, which premieres June 8 in primetime on leading German network RTL, features Til Schweiger, Germany’s biggest star, and the prize — a role in one of the “Twilight” sequels — is enough to entice even the most skeptical would-be thespian.

Umm I’m not REALLy happy about it, I mean, I LOVE Germany and all.
I just don’t want them to play a random character that has never been mentioned in the book, and I don’t want them to play anyone from the book, UNLESS they meet the expectations (like their look)

i’m german, but they never announced it loudly here. I would have auditioned for that, if I knew. hopefully they’ll do a second season to get on another huge film, yeah!

this ain’t right! reality shows are so low ( thoug I admit to watch some)… I think its a bad idea to have some random winner of a reality show to play a role in twilight….
and i wonder will it be a new character which was not in the series or perhaps… based on the majority of blondes in the bunch… My guess is that tanya would be the role.

And i think its great that they do it in Germany. Everything, competitions and everythin goes on in America, England etc.
