I have so much twilight stuff lol. of course the books and the movie, 5 pins, a keychain, an edward pillowcase, the umbrella, 5 shirts, a hoodie, 4 posters, pencil case, um…probably more than i’m forgetting right now lol. and my birthday was yesterday so i’ll be getting more =]

  • Emily:

    waaayyy overboard.

  • d.awesome:

i love twilight, but i dont go too crazy with the merchandise… a shirt, buttons, keychain and books is all i need.

you dont need to buy all of that to prove your a twilight fan. thats just my opinion. ;)

  • Christina:

the books are enough for me.
    i think it’s silly how much they’re selling…
just more junk that the media’s shoving down your throat.

  • Emmettfan45:

Wow…I’m going to have to agree with D.Awesome, Christina and Emily. Action figures? Why? I’ll go as far as getting the game but ACTION FIGURES?

  • Noemi:

I have the books, dvd, director’s notebook, twilight ost and score. tha’s all i have. and it’s worth it. loooove twilight ♥

  • jacqueline:

lke we all said before, they’re totally milking it.

  • Noemi:

i would love to have a human sized edward doll, or jacob’s

  • Emilyy:

I only have a tshirt, posters and books atm , cos here in england there isnt that much stuff, i really want a hoody and maybe another tshirt but i think that would be enough :)

  • hannah:

yeah.. i think its getting way overboard… I mean the board game was one of the things that ticked me off.. ( no offense though)….

there are some merch that are worth buying for collectible puposes… but some are just not worth buying anymore..

  • Tilly:

I only have a Twilight t-shirt and poster, the books are what I really care about.

All this Mrs Edward Cullen pisses me off, don’t people get the point that Edward is bella’s?

  • Emma-Louise:

I a huge huge HUGE fan of Twilight…
But the products are waaayyyy OTT.
Twilight became popular because Steph Meyer had a brilliant imagination, not because some people faces were printed on things etc.
I think Twilight is moving away from what it orignally was…a great book for young adults/teens to enjoy.
It’s Steph that should be getting the credit, not some stupid merchandise created just to get more money.
    Eeesh

  • Jacob_Black_fan:

Well, I would think that Steph is getting royalties on all that merchandise, which is probably why her husband Christiaan was able to “retire” which is what she stated on the Ellen show! GO STEPH!

  • Kaity:

I like the game and the PJs, but she forgot a lot of other things, like bags and life size cut outs of Edward.

  • bloodlust4edward:

I like having the merchandise but some of it is just stupid!!! I have the books, a T-shirt, and a backpack. That is all i need. My friend on the other hand even has band aids!!!

  • LeXii..Twilighterr:

    omg..i need those PJ’s..!!
    i <3 my twilight hoodie :]

  • Jaclyn:

IT’S KIND OF OVERWHELMING ALL THESE ITEMS ARE BEING MADE…..SOME ARE SILLY SOME AREN’T SILLY…BUT I LIKE THE PILLOW LOL

  • Sarah:

I think the funnest ever Twilight merchandise is Edward Body Glitter! :P

  • Carly:

lol i think thats going overbaord i mean the game is cool but come on action figures? really? i think the craiziest merchendise out there is the edward body glitter! lol. its madness but that doesn’t mean i dont like the movie! i love it!

  • A.:

Wow…that just blew my mind. All I have are the books and one shirt

A picture book filled with pics of edward…??? unbelievable. Way over board in my opinion

  • Christina:

I admit I go a little crazy with the products. I have 6 shirts, 2 sets of buttons, 5 necklaces, a calender, the books, a music box, 3 sets of rubber bracelets, 3 bags, and the umbrella. But never will I get the really crazy stuff like the perfume, glitter, dolls, board game, and band aids. Jewelry, shirts, and bags is probably enough. Anything else is just insanity.

  • Jaclyn:

HAS ANYONE SEEN THE VIDEO OF THEM SHOOTING NEW MOON WITH KRISTEN ON THE BACK OF A MOTORCYCLE JOYRIDING WITH ONE OF THE GANG MEMBER GUYS TO UPSET EDWARD???? GO TO VANCITYALLIE.COM! TO WATCH THE VIDEO!!! IT’S SO AWESOME!

  • Ashley:

its wayy overboard…especially the body glitter and the action figures… but ive still got A LOT of merchandise! i have to have those pj’s!!! lol. good thing my bday just passed…ive got about 100 dollars now!….but still saving up to buy some stuff at twicon.

  • EmilyNJ:

i bought an “i drive like a cullen” window decal but have yet to put it on…i think it was an impulse buy! but, it’s nice to have anyway

  • EDWARD4EVER:

i agree with just about everyone that posted a comment… some people are going TOTALLY overboard with all this twilight stuff…. all i have are the 4 books, a shirt, and a poster! i’ve even seen twilight PENCIL CASE! but the body glitter seems kinda cool :)

  • EDWARD4EVER:

oh and another thing… what would the game even be about?? i think THAT’S the craziest thing here… a board game for twilight?!?! what’s the object, don’t fall into ‘the evil clutches of james?’ i’d love to see that game and how they’d make it…. but knowing some of the crazed fans out there, no matter how stupid it is, they’ll buy it

  • twilightfanatic:

I am insane about twilight. i’m 12 so i really don’t have much money! otherwise i would have a lot more than i do!! i have 2 t-shirts, 1keychain, 1 necklace, 1bag,the books, obvioulsy! I’m even going to cut my hair like alice! i’m saving up for alice and rosalie’s necklaces! Yay! I was wondering, was the person in the videos lower body hers? it looked fake! and i really want the PJ’s!

  • Kat:

You know I’ll admit to having bought quite a bit of the merchandise, but honestly there’s nothing more excessive with the Twilight merchandise than there was with Buffy & Angel merchandise. Here we are, years after both of those shows are off the air (yes, still a fan) and merchandise such as the comic books are still going strong. And honestly much of the merchandise is overboard but quite similar. The pillows, blankets & umbrella, come on really? But the board game & action figures, again like Buffy, not surprised in the least. If there’s a demand for it, which let’s face it there is, it will be made.

  • i don’t think it is out of control. well maybe the action figures are, but other than that its all good :)

  • 17 forever:

There is absolutely nothing to get over here in Belgium, a few posters and buttons. The actors are rarely mentioned in fanmagazines. We don’t even get the dvd till july. Out of control? You guys are lucky!

  • bloodlust4edward:

    I feel so sorry 4 u 17forever. U have my sympathy!!!

  • Naveena:

For me, the merchandise has not gone out of control. I like both the book and the film. Honestly, I myself am not interested in purchasing that much of the merchandise. I’ve just got 2 items so far- the calendar and Esme’s bracelet. I feel that if I read a book & I like it then I want it to be made into a movie. I’m so glad both the Harry Potter series & the Twilight series got brought to life on film. I usually don’t end up imagining people in my head as the characters until casting – it just rarely happens w/me. So the only people I’ve ever imagined as Bella and Edward are Kristen & Robert for ex. I don’t mind all this merchandise plus it’s not like we’re going to forget about the book series w/all this merchandise around- we have way too much respect for the books to do that.

  • Lissa:

Dude I got a perfeshinl artest panit the cullens and bella on my wall. I have posters EVERY WERE!! I have twilight pjs a twilight back pack a twilight pillow case twilight braslits and necklises Twilight ear rings and my mom let me get edwards face tattod to my arm

  • Rose:

Ok. So the merch WAS good. A while ago I got the team edward and baseball shirt, esme’s braclet, and the books, (mine you that they were all gifts which I love dearly) but now everything is just cheesy and cheep. Twilight very well may get ruined by the overload of Merch, bad marketing, rumors, and overload of twilight in general (and thats just for the movie though, the books could never be torn away from any of us)

  • Yris:

omg i want those pj’s i think they’re cute and awesom

  • crystal aka leah:

idk about the merch going overboard, but i absolutely love the emmet shirt that girl is wearing, i haven’t gotten 1 yet but that is the next item on my list.haha. i agree that they might b milking it a bit but i’ve seen worse, take star wars for instance, that era passed long ago but u still see conventions and ppl dressing up like the characters and even action figures, so if u think about it, the Twilight merch isn’t that bad.

  • EmmettLover:

i think thsat the merch is WAYYYYY overboard. when theyt with came out with BAND-AIDS i was done. iv egot a shirt and a magnet. i want a jacket but i mean they just hav soooooooo much stuff!!!!! the action figures were kinda like ok??????? and we have action figures……why?????? i dunno. i stopped buying a while ago. i do have bellas ring tho…. its really pretty

  • beth:

i saw twilight plasters once…. i dnt know if they were being ironic.. i mean a vampire on a plaster.. but things like t-shirts are totally finei have loads of twilight stuff but it is goin a bit far.

  • Kirsty:

I think it’s cool that the merch is available -I mean I love so many books which I would be proud to have a t-shirt of – but I think when there is too much people who haven’t read it or didn’t like the movie just do that thing where they go on about how stupid all us fans are, and that gives Twilight a bad reputation.
I have a t-shirt and a bag, but I would prefer all the money to go to Stephenie Meyer rather than the cheap companies riding off our love of the books.
The books are awesome, but I know Edward would be sooo disapproving of all the cheap merch. It’s a little OTT. But nice :)

  • TEAM CARLISLE GIRL:

    does it really matter???

  • Taylor D L:

OMG!!! I have soooo many Twilight things, but i do not have those PJ’s, and i have a school trip comming up, and i would luuuuuuuvvv 2 have those pj’s come with me…if anyone knows where 2 get them, plz write it on here, so i can go get them

  • team taylor:

I only have 2 t-shirts,1keychain,1poster,the books, and im getting the game and calender and a necklace soon…and some other stuff

i dont think the twilight merch is goin overboard,i think its awesome

i never heard of the bandaids..but now i want them!!

  • Kathleen:

I have those pajamas….among other things! LOL

  • Erica E:

There’s an Edward thong out there. xD lolz

All i have is a couple posters and a t-shirt.
i want another shirt and a bag, tho.

  • Angel:

    I only have a Neckless,a breacelet,t-shirt,movie,the books,buttons and books…..thats all.

  • Angel:

    heres twilight this I have:

    1 neckless
    1 bracelet
