Stephenie has created her own version of vampires and I think it's been a long time coming....some of the evolution started with Interview with a Vampire - they'd be the bad guys in the Twilight Series now - and Stephenies books have added to the mix. Most people are trying to mix it up a little by saying these things. I also think there's a few out there totally blown away by the success of this thing - and don't get it - jealous like Ryan Seacrest and Miley CYrus, and feel it's diverting attention they might otherwise enjoy. At first i was totally hacked off, but i read all the comments and found out it was only a TV show. It was rude, yeah, but the guy was only doing his job = comedy. We don't even know if he was the one who wrote the script! Don't get me wrong, I am a ma-hoo-sive Twiligth fan, totally OTD and all the other Twilight-related diseases, but I actually think it was funny.
