The trailor was amazing. The cast, special effects, crew was great no matter what differences there are from the book. New Moon is going to be better than Twilight. The directors for Twilight and New Moon have such an amazing job. Congrats to the cast for many awards tonight. They really did deserve them. Much love to cast and crew!!

Of course I’ve already watched it 15 times, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it! So freakin’ amazing. Who cares if Jacob isn’t supposed to phase in front of her? The actual PHASING itself was phenomenal,…as was Taylor. Man-licous. A few beefs though…Was Laurent’s accent way different or was that just me? And his hair looked completely different. And Jasper’s hair…no thank you. I liked it better in tight curls all sweet like before.
I would bet thousands of dollars that this movie is going to convert so many to TEAM JACOB!

Loved it!!When Jacob turns into a wolf is when Paul tries to attack her. They showed 2 different scenes, it will be like the book, laurent runs away cause he sees the wolves but Bella doesn’t find out about Jacob and his friends until later..I loved the b-day scene too, but it’s gonna be so sad when Edward leaves

This is directed only to a few but How can people watch 1 minute of a not finished trailer and all ready have so many negative comments about it. If we have learned anything not only from twilight, but from any book that had been turned into a movie…. is what?????…. that the movie is NEVER exactly like the book! Be happy summit chose to air a trailer this early at all. Is it just me, or does anybody agree with me.

OMG finally somethng from New Moon, but i noticed when, edward was leaving, it was almost sunny out in the woods, shouldnt it be kinda gloomy, i understand its sunny out when they are at Jacob’s b/c he brings the light to her life, after edward, but edward left? hopefully this new moon, has some of the gloomingness of Twilight.

For people who are smart, the scene where Jake turns into a wolf is SEPARATE from the Laurent scene. It’s called editing.

i dont mind if they make some adjustments as long as they are done well, and the main essence of the story line is kept

not exactly what i expected for the trailer but it was still amazing nonetheless

I loved it…Jacob is reddish brown in the books. Bella describes him that way a few times (russet). Some people on the MTV blogs were commenting that the wolf transformation was too CGI. I am loving it, and have been dying to see the special effects improved from Twilight. I hope that when Edward leaves he really makes it seem like he doesn’t love her anymore. That is what she thinks in the book. That scene lacked some of the extreme shock from the book. Hopefully when we see the whole scene it will give us that gut wrenching feeling we got from the book. I will concur with a previous poster that I am a bit aggravated at the scene with Jacob running to save Bella from Laurent. It definitely DOESN’T happen that way in the book. Changes like that really ruin loved stories for me when they become movies. It seems a bit stupid and totally unnecessary. I liked the way it was written better, but I will hold my final judgment until AFTER I see the full film. )

Hopefully it is a different scene. I didn’t not the different outfit. I will be very pleased though if it was different. Still, poorly edited together I think.

What an awesome trailer! I was not all that happy with the end result of Twilight (too low budget, wrong director. Even though I have watched it over and over and loved it because it was Twilight, I wished they would have spent more on it to do it justice), but I am really looking forward to New Moon.

Jake looks awesome, the transformation is perfect and I love that he looks like a wolf, not wolf-man. Bella looks incredibly human and Edward looks very not–notice how in the birthday scene they look more alike then when he is leaving they look very different which I am sure was on purpose.

I wonder what Bella is running from when Jake leaps over her… Does anyone think that maybe they are going to put a little Victoria in to link the stories together?

I like that it looks like a fantasy movie now instead of a strange, edgy docudrama. I also loved how scary Laurent looks.

The birthday party scene meet my expectations. However, in the scene where Edward was leaving Bella he said: “this will be he last time you’ll ever see me” – I was expecting that he would say: “it will be if I never existed”; I was tiny bit disappointed by that. I know that when it came into making New Moon there was going be changes made. This change was acceptable, when Laurent was about to attack Bella – in the book that happened in the meadow not in front of Jacob’s house. And when Bella said:”Jake run!” and instead Jacob transformed into a werewolf in front of her I’m guessing that maybe… this is how Bella finds out about Jacob’s secret. Overall I thought it was AMAZING!!!

Can’t wait to see it !!! And I especially can’t wait to see the scenes were EDWARD & JACOB are SHIRTLESS xD!!!

The only thing I’m not understanding is if there were two scenes smooshed together at the end of the trailer. Like, if there was one scene where Laurent was talking with Bella in the meadow, and then another where Bella tells Jacob to run and then he transforms…?

No Words Can Describe This Movie. It’s Just So Effin Amazing

OMFG! I seriously have watched this 1,000 times. I have no complaints. I am extremely excited for this movie. I try not to expect much out of this movie… So then in the end it will be that much better. Also, people remember… the movie can’t be exactly like the book. But I knew the wolf would look stupid anyway and it looks fine to me. No reason to get too worked up. GO NEW MOON!

AND if you noticed the scene when Laurent is talking with Bella and the scene when Bella is running are two different scenes. Look at her clothes.

okay like i said no matter what i;m going to support the movie no matter what. chris brought the look and feel of the wolf pack and used diffrent color palette then cathriene. like when they were in the woods it didn;t look really green like in twilight. and i’m still not liking the new contacts on the cullens(it makeds edwards facial looks even more creepier at times) and the nomads. laurent looks paler, kristen’s contacts are darker too. the cullens are more fashionable in this film, and i loved thier clothes in twilight because it was more settled but still like they were rich. and now it makes them look like they were holding back their style ever since. but i’m still rooting for the movie!!!

I’ve seen a lot of people point out that Jake doesn’t turn into a wolf when he saves her from Laurent, but I don’t believe that is what happens in the movie. Look at Bella’s clothes between when she is with Laurent and then when she is running toward Jacob. They’re two totally different scenes. Perhaps, the scene when she is telling Jacob to run is when the other werewolf kid transforms in front of her? I don’t know. I just know that it’s spliced together right now to show like he transforms to protect her.

I’m very sorry, but anyone that thinks that Jacob’s transformation is bad or the wrong color is CRAZYYY. Okay, the color isn’t really RUSSET-BROWN, its more bronze with a white underbelly, but I think that having this same director do the stunts and transformations who also did the one for the Golden Compass if just frikken EXCELLENT, because I’ve seen his other director’s work, and I’m very fond of the way he conducts movies. Although with the Cullen family during Bella’s birthday, I’m disappointed how when the whole Jasper and Edward are fighting, ALL THE FREAKING CULLENS ARE JUST STANDING THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trailer didn’t meet my expectations, though Jacobs transformation was really good. Not great but good.
Although I’m still disappointed I feel like its going to be just as horrible and cheesy as the first. THE ACTING IS STILL HORRIBLE. It’s sad to say that that hasn’t improved. Kristen’s acting is still mediocre as well as Robert’s. Either that or Kristen is just a really bad actress and Robert doesn’t have much to play off of.

And to the people who say Jacob is the wrong color, the book describes him as russset- colored. Russet-colored is a reddish brown!!!! I don’t think it’s the actual trailer. It’s clips from the movie. Notice they didn’t put any Volturri in it? It’s because they’re not done shooting. Plus, there’d be actual writing in the trailer as well just like they did for the Twilight trailer. And can I just say that it sucks how they show Jacob as a wolf? That scene didn’t go down that way. They’ve completely ruined it. And he looks more like a puppy than a ferocious vampire killer.

Now in the scene with Jake transforming his house is there and Bella is wearing a brown shirt and no backpack. Stay cool all is fine with the movie not one thing wrong as far as I can tell. Lets all just wait for the Movie to come out before judging cause these people are crafty at editing scenes.

Although Jacob in werewolf form looked quite angry in the clip, I think I’m gonna end up thinking that he’s a cute looking werewolf. The only work I’ve seen of Taylor is “Twilight”. So I haven’t seen him in a bigger role but I’m sure he’ll act great in “New Moon”.

UMMM, chris, Jacob cuts his hair in new moon when he becomes a part of the pack. It’s one of the things that shocks Bella when she sees Jake for the first time after he becomes a werewolf. He then grows it back out because Bella prefers him with longer hair.

I think it is going to be great, the scenes were out of sequence, but this was just the trailer, not the real movie, I’m sure they got it right for the movie. Edward looks great, I’m so going to cry when he leaves her, I think Jacob was the right color.

The look and transformation of Jabco/Warewolves excieded my expectations. By the looks of it Chris Weitz needs to stay on. I hate when they constantly change directors and each movie has a MUCH different look. (i.e. Harry Potter). BUT I have to say to everyone who’s making this huge complaints about little things – Let go of it and enjoy the movie for what it is, I don’t see how anyone can enjoy anything without doing so.

I have read the books, and I have seen Twilight – the movie, and all I can say is that I am really looking forward to see New Moon in November! A book and a movie will never be the same, and I do belive the movie would be very long and to boring for “not-fans” who has not read the saga. This is a movie, and it needs some action to make the public like it, fans of the saga or not. I know I will love it, just seeing Bella and Edward alive, the passion and the love makes me happy. I even put on my Twilight DVD just so they are able to be together.. I dont even watch it all…*turning red* I love the New Moon trailer, and Jacob turining into a wolf that actually looks like a wolf was just great!

the scenes are out of order, so I think in the movie it will be right, at least it better be. I loved it, except I did expect pink flowers at the birthday party, and I think Jaspers hair looked better in the first film, and Laurent looks really freaky. Also the meadow should have been prettier, but maybe the grass is still dead from the winter and just hasn’t come back yet. I’ll have to reread that part of the book to see. I really have high hopes that they get the story line right, I think it will all just be cosmetic changes that don’t match the book.

i agree- Laurent should sparkle and edward shouldn’t be that much in it- it is definitely Jacob’s turn. However the acting by kristen is already miles better and the breakup scene looks heartbreaking. im so pleased the snuck in a transformation anthough im sad not much of jacob was in it.Hmm…i love it anyway and im soooo excited for the movie!! aaahh!! and they are already looking for the eclipse cast yaaaaaay! is it november yet?

I agree with emsy, people need to realize that this is a movie adaptation and that they can’t make the details all the same as the book, they can come close to the book, but never exact. And yes, if you do look closely the teaser was edited to look like Jacob jumps in, changes into a wolf, and protects Bella from Laurent, but I think they did it that way just to tease those who just watched Twilight and never read the books, just to “shock” or “surprise” them in a way; however, us Twilight fans know what really happens…

and for all the obsessed fans… jake doesn’t transform infront of bella to save her from laurant,, you can tell because when she was in the meadow with laurant she had her backpack on but when he transformed infront of her..she didnt!.. that scene looked like when he was protecting her from paul. and he jumped from ,what it looks like, his porch..and i dont think the meadow is in his front yard..soooo calm down guys..i think they are trying to make it as close to the book as they can.

Amazing! as always! I cried reading the book and here i am eyes watering as i see Edward leave! though i wish they had some of Italy in it i can still say it is astonishing and it has me bewildered! i cant wait to see the movie in theaters. I will be one of the girls standing in line at 2:00 am on November 20th, 2009! i might freak out in theaters but thats okay! my cell phone is still counting down and i will never stop it! I love being in love with The Twilight Saga no matter who hates it! Cant wait to see more!!!

(I am not one of those guys) But I am sensing that everyone will like the sequel better then the first b/c Chris Weitz IS a better director then Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight). To everyone disappointed by things like Taylor revealing himself in a different way and Bella running…NONE OF THOSE ARE FROM THE SAME SCENES!!!! Look at the clothes and props. Someone said that Jacob doesn’t change in front of Bella but he does when another wolf from the pack was going to attack her. The trailor was awesome and gives you an idea of how the special effects and such will be. None of these clips are continuous parts of the movie. Its just pieced together from different scenes. So everyone downing the trailor or feel let down just relax.

This movie is going to be better than Twilight!!!! Twilight was pretty good but in comparison to the book it was a HUGE let down. SOOOOOOOO many things were left out and moved around and the feel of the book was so different from the movie. I don’t think anyone would care to sit in a theater for 2.5 hours to see the way Twilight should have really been done. I hope New Moon is more like the book. It will be longer but WHO THE HELL CARES? It will be awesome!!!!! Lol…can’t wait for New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn!!!

For those of you who are disappointed about how Jake “reveals” himself to Bella…………Please watch the trailer again and pay very close attention. Looka t what Bella wears. Her clothes are different in those scenes. They use several different scenes from the whole movie and they piece it together to make the trailer. Just go back and watch Twilight’s trailer. Not everything happens the way the trailers show.

I can’t wait til the movie, the trailer was great and they are keeping us in suspense by not showing all the scenes, you can see the different scenes edited together, I think it will be amazing, I can’t wait. The wolf change was great and I bet the rest of the CGI scenes are fab, I hope everyone understands that a movie is not exactly like a book due to the content of a book. Regardless November can’t come soon enough, I am counting down, I love Jacob but I am totally team Edward, he is hot and has anyone noticed that he is ripped for this movie !!!!!! Come on Twilight fans lets make New Moon the best movie of 2009/2010.

the meadow scene was okay(adaquet, mediocre). i agree the meadow looks dead. i dont notice laurents accent too much

I miss Katherine’s influence, she made the movie real, this trailer everything and everyone looks too glitzy and fake. The characters have too much color for vampires and pasty white folks who live in the rainiest town in America. And are the settings going to be the same? That didn’t look like the Cullen’s open, modern house or Bella’s house in her crying scenes. To keep continuity they really should have kept Katherine, she was true to the book.

OMG! This book has made me into a Jake fan, and I hope the movie is just as convincing. Taylor Lautner is going to do a great job, and I can’t wait until Eclipse! It’s my favorite I saw that everyone thinks it sucks how Jake phased in front of Bella to kill Laurent, unlike the book. Good news, I was bummed out too, like, ‘Darn, a great book, flop movie. Hollywood idiots.’ Then I realized Kristen’s clothing. She is wearing 3 different things, if you pay attention. So they morphed three scenes. Makes the trailer tempting and mysterious. Chris Weitz is going to do great. Judging by the trailer, a better film than Twilight. I’ve never had much patience for Robert Pattinson. He is too old and frankly, not beautiful enough to play Edward. (Check out ‘Reasons why Robert Pattinson is UGLY on YouTube!) Rob’s character, however, is great. Just a little flaw in Eclipse, but still, ‘unbearable’ .

When Bella is with Laurent and when jacob phases are 2 different parts in the movie. just look at what bella is wearing. it changes.

They looked so real even tho they wernt. u get how they put different clips together so there were a bunch of clips from this movie that kristen was in that i saw but dont know wat its called and it was really good and i felt so proud for knowing. and some used clips from zathura i had no idea kristen was the daughter in that! and one said one drop of blood will change everything i luved that! rock on to those ppl who make the trailers as long as u tell us and dont get our hopes up by not letting us know its not real
