I agree that could be true but not necessarily so don't be too quick to judge. I loved Buffy and Angel and Iove twilight so natually I like vampire novels and movies / shows etc. I am writing a vampire story and yes it is love story…I amgoing to do my best to make it different from twilight bu love storys whether vampire or not do mimic each other if only slightly. What is worse ( and I swear I am not lying) is I chose the name Eclipse for my novel BEFORE I found out Stephanie had a bok called that. Now I have to modify or totally change the name. The bad thing is the name Eclipse is very fitting due to the content f the story. I am thinking of calling it Eternal Eclipse or something but I am afraid people will assume I am a copycat and I am not.

Love Twilight but something will beat it oneday that is how it works ..something better is always around the corner. Authors have Twilight and many other great stories and authors to inspire them.

Hello I love Twilight but that is crazy…Buffy an Angel were cool and Dracula just to name a few and one thing you would know if you were a writer or artist is that there will always be something better. Artists and writers are inspired by each ther and build apon each others works. Stephanie even said herself that she wa inspired by other books. No book (unless the Bible) is original. We all get our ideas from somewhere and one could argue the bible isn't because others were insired by God.

Everytime I go into the bookstore I am plagued by books like this, and it just really makes me mad because I feel like all those authors don’t even WANT to write about vampires, they just realize that they are the next big thing, and if they write about vampires than it will automatically be a popular book. Plus, none of these vampire books even compare to twilight. The thing is, I don’t read twilight because I love vampires, you know…? I love the cullens and i am interested that they are vampires, but it’s more about how their vampirism affects the people around them than it is about the fact that I think being a vampire is sexy. which i don’t.
