Q. How does it feel to take over directorial duties of such a successful franchise?
A. On the one hand, it’s exciting to take over a successful franchise. On the other, it’s daunting. There are so many fans who have high expectations for this film, but it’s made easy by the fact that I inherited this amazing cast who are certainly very talented. So half of the time, I’m just overjoyed to be a part of this and the other half, I’m nervous that I’m going to be hunted down and killed by a pack of 14-year-old teenage girls in about a year’s time!

ANGRY GRIZZLY BEARS ARE GOING TO LOOK TAME NEXT TO WHAT IS WAITING FOR HIM IF HE MESSES UP THIS FILM! lol jk I mean even if the movie isn’t all like the book….I still think this movie will be BIGGER than twilight because everyone will more likely love it in the end =] (HOPEFULLY)

ive never heard of him before this but judging on the new moon trailer he is doing an awsome job on the new movie!

I’m totally stoked for this. After watching the first trailer, Chris proved to us he means business… I can’t wait to see the rest.
i totally agree w/ EM. it sounds like this guy has our backs on this and he really cares about respecting the book and staying true 2 it as much as possible. but not all the Twilighters r 14, i’m 17, but i get the point.lol. and i don’t think i’d attack him if the movie was bad, it sounds like he tried really hard 2 plz us. THXS 4 THAT!!=]

he totally understands what he needs to do and is completely unselfish in making the film. and yes, i agree with EM too. he is doing a great job. the budget, the time given to make new moon and his organization seems like a great mixture for success so far.
