A rep for Summit Entertainment tells ET that the actor is doing fine after the incident and production continues on his movie.
The 23-year-old star is in the Big Apple filming his upcoming flick, ‘Remember Me.’

“Rob Pattinson is fine, the reports are exaggerated and it was not caused by fans. Production continues,” according to a Summit spokesperson.

honestly, i have to blame the production agency to prevent such situations. though he is fine, i think it all could have been prevented and all this drama could have been avoided. i wonder if this was set up, just so that summit can make sure that twilight news keeps fans busy. just a theory.
It’s sad that his own fans are out to get him. It was their faults because he just wanted to run away and that’s what happened when he tried. His fans seem to be way worse than the damn paparazzi. ok this so bugs me now. the media (i know, this is what they do) freaks us all out saying rob gt hit by a car, and then this comes out and it says he was barely grazed! It bugs me to death that the media just wants to get all the fans in a uproar but I think this threat that he got HURT has gone over the top! People, YOU are the ones that all need to chill! This incident was not caused by a “fan frenzy.” There were 6 fans there total all day- none being teenage girls. I was actually one of the people there when it happened. His bodyguards were trying to get him away from the paparazzi when they walked him into oncoming traffic and into the cab.
Ohmygoodness!!! I was afraid that production would be halted…that would be the worst thing ever!!! Anyway why would a FAN cause the accident? Thats stupid, well unless they want a restraining order. Thank goodness he is ok.
